ooooh, ooooh, i want the fur!!!!

a few years back, i was hiding in some boulders behind my house, as the muleys were thick in there that year. I could only hunt till 8, i had to go to work, but i'd been watching a bachelor heard of 5 bucks wander thru this area daily. Next thing i know a forker was sneaking around me. He was nervous, so i didn't take time to use the range finder (mistake). I drew my bow and settled the 40 yard pin on his shoulder. It was a steep down hill shot, and the arrow sailed harmlessly over him and burried itself halfway up the shaft in the soil. That deer took off like a scared rabbit, and i hung my head low on yet another trip back to the truck.

i said blue tile saw.....??? maybe cuz i'm setting tile in the bathroom...

My neighbor has a bluetick hound for free. It's good at climbing fences, eating the neighbors dog's food, and it should make a good lion dog because it had me treed the other day. pm me for details, we are in star valley.

They are giving it away, not me. Deputy told them if the dog gets out once more, they will be cited. It's a hound, it was born to run, not to be cooped up, so, it tends to be the neighborhood nuisance.

Good luck... I find myself traveling from az to mo to hunt from time to time. the inlaws have a farm near the lake of the ozarks...things didn't work out this year...the mrs. is due anytime...maybe i'll make the trek next year.

Congrats on the trip....i've always wanted to hunt the kudu...don't know why but that's all i want out of africa....maybe one of those lion charge thru the grass do or die hunts, but i'd settle for a kudu. Spent some time in Livingston a few years back, the banks of the zambezi river are loaded with game, it's a beautiful place.

(I've missed more than i can remember. I guess that's what keeps me coming back.
