Pray for me, my wife is already with god.
REDTOOTER replied to muledeerarea33?'s topic in Prayer Requests
So sorry for your loss. Way to young! This has to be everyone's worst nightmare to lose a spouse or child. Stay close to your family and friends. Prayer works and as it was said reach out when you need to no one can do this alone. -
I also will be there. Hopefully some of those monsters in 4b will wonder over for us. đ

Parenting done right! Congrats to you both! Youth Turkey is one of the best hunts in Az. Hardest part of this hunt was getting the kidos out of bed at 3am. The boy wasn't to bad, however my daughter at 3am was not a easy task lmao. Thanks for sharing

Great Bird! Thank you for sharing, love these youth turkey hunts.

https://youtu.be/LLIartbuJ5I FUKN A! Congressman from NC makes heck of a speech on the floor for us gun owners ...

Here we go again... with Dems in control lets hope SCOUS has the Constitution's back, well until they pack the courts with hard line Liberals https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gun-control-rep-sheila-jackson-lee-national-firearm-registry-licensing create a national firearm registry, set a minimum gun ownership age at 21 and both require licensing and psychological evaluations. would make it a crime to possess a firearm or ammunition without the new license It also requires gun owners to pay for insurance would also take into account the psychological condition of other members of the licenseeâs household, current and former spouses, relatives and associates.

Okay I must weigh in, probably the booze. First, Fantastic Bull and Congrats to all involved. Great post and great attitude by 654321 in this situation. I do not post often, and I am at best an everyday hack hunter who is happy just to get out to enjoy the woods and hopefully come home with a legal animal (unlike the Owen boys đ) sorry couldnât resist. Also, I enjoy seeing others share their stories here and find it fun and entertaining to read all the regularâs bicker about things. I love this site for all it offers good and bad. Now to all you dumb asses saying, âno follow up shootâ and âhow dare he let that bull sufferâ BS! If you hunt and KILL animals then get over it! No death is âeasyâ, its death⌠instant or for a few minutes itâs no different, itâs not like you are out there snapping necks, you are aiming for lungs or the like and these animals are strong as heck. Next, if you paid $200,000 for a tag then you dang sure would want an army of peps out there looking for and tying that thing to a tree for you. The funds from this help ALL OF US in the long run, and Itâs ONE Bull! Stop the jealously. Okay Iâm done, Plz continue with your regularly scheduled programming

I agree with the "you are over thinking / over worried about this" group... I grew up and live in 36a and I have hunted, played, camped, explored etc in most of the southern units year round for over 30+ years now . These units get a bad rap in my option, yes there is a chance you may see illegals or worse smugglers, but it's nothing like it was years ago... and when it was bad nothing a "clam head" couldn't handle. Yeah take a side arm for peace of mind if you need to, as I do when I travel up to the northern units around all those tweakers and weirdos lol, but focus on your hunt have fun and report back your successes. 1. Since there's much better board security now with the new administration, is there much issues with illegals on the Buenos Aires National Refuge? NO, currently you will probably see more BP than illegals 2. Are there a lot on Javelina in this unit? YES 3. With illegals crossing, is it dangerous to sit water as it seems illegals are more prone to hitting water as they travel? sit water without fear 4. For this area, what's a decent coues buck I should be looking for or could expect? 70's class / 80's shoot!

This is me as well... The "glasser/sherpa" has been my role the past many years, very enjoyable. I cant hit sh!t in the field, excitement gets me every time. Luckily my son is a crack shot but I always manage to locate the animals before he does. We are great as a team. I find them he wacks them, he packs it out and I do the butchering. And Grandpa always has good eats waiting for us at camp. Sorry didn't mean to derail thread , ok back to the ethics police ...

I have wanted to post this for a while and now that we wait for the new draw results, I thought I would share and reminisce. After completing the 2019 deer draw application for my son, this was the first time not being able to apply him for a Jr hunt. I now must come to accept my little man is becoming a man⌠and a great man at that. I could not be prouder of him in many things in life, one being an outdoors-man. Over the years he has grown and learned from the countless fishing/camping/hunting trips we have taken. Last year he went out in style with the youth trifecta⌠successful youth turkey, elk and deer in the same year. This after many years of âsuccessful tag soup huntsâ, I say successful cuz I consider any hunt with my kids a fruitful adventure. Thank you for the memories buddy, now go make me some grand children to take hunting/camping⌠donât tell his mom I said that , lol

Huge congratulations to Hunter ! Great job dad and all who helped! Love reading about our kids hunting adventures. Wishing his little brother a easy recovery, had my appendix removed as an old man, not fun.

Same here, I have really enjoyed reading all of your fishing and hunting posts over the years. Congrats on a great deer!

To all you lucky members out in the woods this weekend ..... Good Luck! and Be Safe! https://www.sahuaritasun.com/news/tucson-man-suffers-head-injuries-in-madera-canyon-fall/article_909f8af2-26f8-5473-99ae-aa4d45666eed.html A 30-year-old Tucson man was taken to Banner University Medical Center this morning after falling out of a tree while hunting in Madera Canyon. Green Valley Fire District spokesman L.T. Pratt said the man was hunting when he fell approximately 15 feet. He was taken to the hospital with head injuries via ambulance, but his condition is unknown.

Well thanks to a few great coueswhitetail regulars providing some tips, the kids and I went out for a fathers day trip. We had a blast catching small mouth, mostly about 8-12 inch size, but kept us busy. Water was crystal clear and flow was down compared to last reports on this thread. I really appreciate the info provided, we always enjoy our time out in the woods, especially a new spot. One other thing I have to get off my chest... is the trash we found from other peps we encountered, they were nice and great to talk with but when they left, camp it was a mess. I made my kids pick up after them while I cussed and grumbled... I just wish all of us who enjoy the outdoors would not litter... rant over. We had a blast. A big thank you to who sent info...

This sounds like a great trip to get the kids out of the house for a few days... I always hear great things about the "lower black". How does one get there? We spent a weekend at 10 of diamonds years ago and had a blast. Anyone care to share directions to the lower accessible areas?
