Shooting a deer over corn with a bow is still 10x harder than shooting one with a rifle in hand at any given range!!! Whether its corn, water, acorns, minerals whatever, deer know that feeding/watering areas are where they get ambushed from predators.Just my $0.02 John7979 PM me if you still need help. There are still plenty of quality bucks in 24B just waiting for ya to take a crack at them, be it at 10 yds. over corn or 1000yds. with a rifle. Id be glad to help.

I just got a smokin' deal on ebay for some grim reapers. A buddy of mine shoots animals all over the world with them, so we'll see how they do! Supposed to fly like field points and they're spring loaded so no pre-deployment of blades, you can also shoot them open or closed.

Yes. I have seen a few more on the cameras. Non of Mongos size though. The bears seem to be out-n-about more than years past. We probably have 10-15 different bears on cams this year.

Cordless grinders are a standard issue Forest Service tool! Good luck getting anything back if its the FS taking stuff! Wouldn't it be hilarious if the a-hole taking it started a fire cutting it off with a grinder!!
