What process are you looking at? SMAW, GTAW, GMAW.? Retired after 45 years of welding and fab. Buy the best you can afford and save yourself a lot of grief, Most cheap machines have a ton of plastic parts. There is a reason they are cheap. You'll need a AC machine if your thinking about aluminum Tig.

Same here, I believe it’s a 409. The forearm has the matching serial number stamped into it. I will post a picture. I’ll check the chambers I’m pretty sure they are 2-3/4
