Since Casey's first Coues was 80, that must be how he harvested him....he was to old to see or run! Happy Birthday you "old" goat!

OK I'm out of ideas and was hoping you guys might be able to help. I have a cabin up by Greens Peak (Greer area) and I have a 10 x 14 foot shed that I need to move.I only need to move it about 30 yards. I've called tow companies, shed builders, rental places for a trailer that might work......and have come up empty. Does anybody know who in the White mountain area might be interested in this project? Or....have any suggestions how to do this? Thanks in advance for help or advise! John

Thank you to everyone who offered ideas and assistance!

Shed update! Got er done! I started asking around down in Showlow, starting with Deanna at the Jalapeno Grill, (nice folks awesome quesadilla's), who referred me to United Rentals......who referred me to Navapache construction, whose motto is "Yeah, we do that! Jackpot! David and Kimberly from Navapache came out Sunday morning and we had it done in about two hours. They had wheels that we mounted up under one end and then David picked it up with a forklift type machine, (he had a name for it but I forgot) and Carefully moved it to it's new location. WHEW! It was well worth the money and these folks were great! If you need ANYTHING done in that area call them......after all "Yeah! We do that! TJ

6/17/14 Colorado Fishing Report
Tucson John replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Thanks for the report! Looks like fun. I'm headed up there the end of next week to do some fishing with my bro. He's a big time fly fishing purist and I'm old school worms and dynamite! Naw....... just kidding about the dyno! -
you got a porch we could crash on? Shoot wouldn't take much more than a steak and some mountain air to convince me . . . I've plenty of room inside and out! I'm headed up this weekend. If I can't make something happen we will organize a CWT shed moving party in July. I'm headed to Colorado to fish with my Bro the first week of July......gotta have your priority's straight! Thanks guys for all the responses and great ideas! John

Antlers, will schedule 40 handle the load?

All good feedback guys! I have it about two feet in the air now, blocked up. Skids and logs to roll it on may just work. I built a foundation for it in the new location so I'd have to figure out how to get it up on to that once I got it there. How about this? I provide steak dinner and drinks......and you guys come over and help me?!
-
Casey, Not sure.....I actually had Harbor Freight wheels bolted on it until my neighbor convinced me that they would not handle the weight.....so I took them off. Before that, we jacked it up in the air trying to get it high enough to back my quad trailer under it... until it fell over and crashed into a tree! At that point I was like...well it's not worth somebody getting hurt, or worse, and I started looking for somebody with the right equipment to do it safely. Maybe I just need about twenty young guns like you.....and you guys could just pick it up and carry it! I'm guessing it weighs about 1500 pounds.
