Will, yup! sold the Hoyt! or actually traded it for some work here around the house. Awesome bow for the right person but definitely not the right bow for me. Matt, the guy who has it now loves it. Just goes to show the old rule is so true! never buy a bow without shooting it first! perfect Bow for Matt........terrible bow for me! I'm back to shooting my dinosaur Darton Viper, dang thing is at least 20 years old and comfortable for ME! So now I have a 25 cent bow with a 300$ sight on it! Don't care! It's going to get me a 350 Bull come September! Thanks for asking. The Sonoran sight has 7 pins. JO

Nice! I love old Ford trucks! You might want to check out Fordtruckenthusiasts.com, and then find the apropriate sub forum. There is a ton of resources there.

Here's the deal guys. I bought this set up last September and have shot it maybe 100 times. I have about ~$1400 dollars invested in it and I need to sell it. It's the Hoyt Maxis 35 with Hoyt quiver, whisker biscuit rest, and 5 pin Tru Glo sight. The draw is adjustable between 28.5 and 32 inches. The bow will be at Chasing a Dream Outfitters in Payson after tomorrow if you want to see and or shoot it. I'm looking for a reasonable offer for an (almost) brand new bow. TJ

I feel your pain TJ! Here I am with a week off and a 2011 archery deer tag burning a hole in my pocket, and I can't go anywhere either. You know why.........same reason we didn't make it to your party. Worse is when I start to think "oh poor me", I get all the guilt emotions beating on me. I know it's hard to imagine........even harder to actually vocalize on a hunting forum......But......ready......drum roll please.....There are bigger things in life then hunting! There I said it.....let the beatings begin. Merry Christmas to you an Peg! Tucson John :)

I'm with Lark on this. The only way I've found to eat javelina meat is to bury and barbecue it for 24 hours in a mesquite-fired pit, and that's a lot of work unless you have three or four to do at one time. Haven't tried a Crock Pot, and may do it some day because I love to hunt them. Problem is, I'd have to cook it outside because my wife and I hate the smell when it is cooking. Bill Quimby My variation on Bills recipe is to put them on a piece of plywood....bury....BBQ 24 hrs...dig it up......then eat the plywood!

I'm not trying to stir the pot with this post.......I just didn't know where else to post it! This is from my Uncle who lives in Libby Montana and has seen first hand the effects of the Wolf reintroduction program. If you have done any research you can draw your own conclusions. Enjoy the photo. TJ
