Do you guys think 6 points in enough to draw maybe a 5bn early archery bull tag?

Going to roll the dice!

Just looking for a little advice on my elk app. I'm sitting on 6 points, not very much but dying to go chase bulls in September. So I'm thinking about putting in for 5bn for the early archery hunt 1st choice and 5bs 2nd choice. I was just wondering what my odds were to get drawn? I'm really familiar with 5bn but open to apply for another unit just to get out and go after some Bulls! Thanks.

I was thinking about 6a but 700 tags seems like a lot!

maybe I should switch up my second choice.

We found this deadhead in one of our honey holes. Can't wait till January to find one of his buddies come January!

Thanks guys yeah I meant to to put 100 + haven't had him taped but from the looks of it looks maybe 105 maybe 110! dang lions! Anyone have any hounds I could barrow haha we have a great spot full of bucks but a lot of cats!

I was lucky enough to take another opening day buck. I glassed this deer from about 1000 yards and tried to cut the distance but got busted at about 600 yards. So over the ridge they went and I followed except I took a little different way over as they did. As I reached the top pretty winded, the deer I was after pops out and runs full speed he ended up slowing down at about 275 yards I took 2 shots and missed and hit him on the third. It was a clean heart shot! This was a very fun hunt can't wait till next year already. You can watch it on YouTube ill share the link soon.

Got my deer back from the taxidermist the other day. Can you guess the score??

You guys were all pretty close but the score is 104. Couple people nailed it.

Yeah the one one the right scored pretty nice and made the boone and crockett. It's from the 80's but hoping to get a new cape on it soon.
