I cannot share where the buck was found except that it was in AZ. All I know is that is amazes me of how big bucks show up in areas that have never been seen in areas that many hunters go every year. Just enforces their nickname "Grey Ghosts".

Awesome buck, congratulations on shooting a buck that size with a bow! Sorry to hear this. The game warden should be able to use "common sense" in the field to be able to let him keep his antlers. You are right this kind of action against a good hunter just makes it wrong. So it is just like anything else in our system, nothing will change unless we stand up and fight them to make them reconsider the way they do this. Sadly this only effects a few and not enough to push us to do something about it! Again sorry to hear about your story.

Its a great idea, like TJ said its another opportunity for people that can and want to donate. I've had to dump items for food before and couldn't of donated. I do not think that is what this is about. Donate if you can or want to and if not don't feel obligated.

Yes, as long as you plly berfore you license expires. Example, mine expires Feb 28th and I messed around until today to apply so mine expired and I had to buy a new lic, if I had applied before Feb 28th, I'd had saved myself $65. I too called to verify it.
