the wife got me one for Christmas. ihavent really run it through its paces yet. so far ive made pickles, tenders, waffle fries, "boiled" eggs, shrimp, and roasted chick peas in mine. I got a basket fryer, from the groups on fb that i found, there's some bigger makes out there (toaster oven size). Its a challenge, i made fries, then chicken...then had to rehaet the fries, then do the second batch of chicken

i submitted the request to my wife,... and she said "denied"

I can vouch for the seller... stand up guy. this is a nice set up.

Like someone else above said, they "publish" the list a few times.... We put in for 37a, mailed our stuff friday, Co worker mailed his on friday, and another guy in our group mailed his in saturday. I checked the protal and seen we were drawn. The "walk in" list stated that there was 64 tags left for 37 a, but one of the guys didnt have anything posted to his portal yet. He was "rather upset" about being an individual draw, without any success. He called game and fish to find out what he did wrong. They said they continue to open envelopes until they either run out of tags or they run out of envelopes.... way befroe the walkins are actually accepted

been rumored to be seen around payson and young

NOT IN ARIZONA, AND NOT A RESTAURANT, but i know of someone that did something similar. This person in particular "found the perfect tree"... Was out at night, got caught in the dark, found the tree and cut the desired length he needed. Went back a few weeks later in the day light, and turns out it was a landscaped tree on a piece of DNR property

Sorry my mistake... I wasn't thinking. I read "close to the valley" and my bran went in auto. In 22 we head up to rye/mt ord...for 23 we go down a-cross

There's talks of closing roads up on top of the rim. And at lunch the news said the snow level is supposed to be about 4500. Might wanna call ahead and double check conditions before hand... ...at the very least, go prepared and, let me know what you find, ha ha...were going next weekend
-
I seen a bunch of spots, but now they changed it this year...its below the rim. We were either going to go below the 260 (on the road to young) or on the west side by the boy scout camp closer to pine. Hopefully its not all snowed over
-
I went to the ranger station off of higley... I'd call and check for availability first. The gentleman that helped me said they were somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 tags opening morning. I went at lunch to get mine/ours, and there was a line out the door. this year, the tree cutting area is below the rim... which stinks... seen a lot of great looking trees on my buddy's elk hunt, in 4 a

ha ha... get a lasso and tie it to a tree until season comes around

Like everyone else above has said,... glassing is key. When to glass isn't really a question... but where to glass is. On colder days youll find them out sunning, mid day or when its warm, they can tuck up under a tree. I like to give my brother a hard time, on a family outing ... we came across some javelina. At first glance, they looked like rocks... but taking a moment, they moved a little... We took the kids to the wildlife world zoo when that happened. Out in the hill side a funny looking rock might be a sleeping pig, perfectly still. that website someone mentioned above is awesome. I know this is an older post (just got my leftover 37 a tag, so getting excited and thought id cruise this forum) ... theres a current thread in the campfire about tracking old sign. Fresh poop, or old poop is hard to determine... or even worse fresh poop.... Ive hit the same spot two days in a row, only to have them poop in my boot tracks from the day before.

Look into getting the Bull Dog canyon permit from Tonto. Basically its the are "interior" to the lake - river- mesa area. I t still is open to the public, but way less traffic than the top side of the lake or four peaks area
-
Were you 1/2 of that couple? ...you know better than to go poking around dark holes.
-
the taste test works 100% of the time to make sure you'll puke.... side note, not recommended for finding animals...just the "newb test indicator"
-
Dang it!... they also fit the heavier dodges.... The wife would be done with Christmas for me if they were 18's... don't want the added cost per tire for the rim size good luck with the sale
-
Took my step son out for jr javelina... We seen lots of sign in one wash.... he liked the area and gave him some say in where we went...so wound up in the same area two days. I knew they were in there.... because they sh!t in our boot tracks to prove it. ha ha .... Nature thumbing it's nose at us

did the buyer come through? i know someone looking

they trenched the road, then burmed the trench, then gated each side. You cand still get off and drive up to the gate on each side. i think from the south side, if you go psst the old adot building...you can take that dirt road all the way to the back of bartlett (?) its a trek though. We started scouting it once, but my buddy gave up. (i was just along for the ride , his tag and his scout trip). it was the early 90's becuase i remember seeing it. The top side is the 4 way of mt. ord

I remember my first deer hunt. I was so excited to find an area littered with sign... the older guy i was with showing me the ropes had this to say... "unless you see the deer putting those tracks down, there ain't no way to figure out how old they are". So my own strategy, especially if out hiking around. We normally look for an area with lots of sign... and try to hit it a few times. If you know youre going to be back in that same exact area... "sweep" a spot clean with your boot or a branch... then the next day you can check to see if theyre there. Javelina track in a wash is sometimes hard to read on the "freshness" scale. Sand does't hold a crisp edge... so it could be a day old track that looks older because of the crumbles.... come pared to trail dirt from a deer or turkey track
