    Cody's 1st Coues

I HATE kid's like that WTG Big C...still waiting for my chance...good on you dad for taking him out. My son got his 1st rifle coues, one of the most elating experiences I've ever had...beat anything I've ever felt after harvesting my own.

    2 archery javy's

Great writeup! 4-5 years ago I was ontop of a ridge and could hear rocks moving every couple minutes for 20 min. Figured I better go out on the edge and look into the canyon and see where it was coming from. Get to the edge, don't hear anything...then I hear it again...RIGHT below me. Look down and three pigs were dogpiled asleep. Shot was 9'...couldn't make out what was what, so I just aimed at a collar...man they exploded when I hit that one! They kept milling around too...till I walked off the ridge.

    Bow Sights?????

bought a Z7 a couple days ago...trophy taker is a great fall away rest. Have a Flashpoint Redzone 5 pin. The pins are all on a threded shaft so you can loosen the set screw, and then use a thumbwheel to move up or down instaed of sliding on a smooth post and going too far. Will try it out this week on the Java's...groups great out of the box.

    Javalina Left Over Tag Choices

kinda disillusioned last week out there w/ all the BP activity. Very busy there. Just looking for a little quieter area...if 1 exists!
  9. Normally hunt 36B...maybe look to mix it up, try a different unit. Available: 20B, 20C, 27, 33-37B, 34A-37A...as well as 36ABC. Any ideas, luck w/ any of the units? Is there a reason why there are leftover tags? (no animals). Thx.

    36B ??? Not E-scouting

I came out from San Diego and only hunted Friday...so depressing. Saw 2 flathead coues, 1 mulie and 5 java's. Saw waayyy more BP then years past. They were on the hill off Ruby Rd that I needed to get to my 1st spot. Had to go plan B Need opinions on another unit to hunt. This place was soo good before...always seeing between 20-25 head and a couple herds of javis. It was always exciting, always something going on...now, not so much. I can get that kinda action over here Good luck to the rest of you, hope you find a big 1. I'd be nervous if I held a Dec tag...not alot moving around...hopefully a month from now a different story.
