Nice pics, hopefully you fixed the time/date so we know how big the bulls are at certain dates.

It is strange how we haven't heard anything about this, isn't it always on Memorial weekend?

Nice spot and great pics, thanks for sharing.

I went and put one of my cams up in elk country yesterday and saw 4 bulls and a bunch of cows. I didn't get a pic of the biggest one but he was a little bigger then the biggest of the three in the pics. The pics aren't great because they were far but it was nice to see some velvet. It looks like they are growing well so far and hopefully they will finish strong in July.

Do you have any more pics, like some of the inside.

I asked the question on here a week ago or so and didn't get very many responses, a couple of guys said they have found a few.

Edge- Interesting info, I will bring it by and you can stick your tongue to it if you want. I will just put it on my shelf and enjoy its beauty, lol.

Has anyone found any coues sheds from this year or know if they are dropping yet? Has anyone seen any coues bucks missing head gear on their cams? Thanks
-
Nice buck and a good collection, how many miles do you think you hiked to find all of these? I have hiked about 32 miles and found one brown elk shed and 2 old white elk sheds.

Looks like a great weekend Adam.

How were the teeth? Fairly fresh from a young deer or worn flat? From the photos, maybe younger deer?
Skull looks decent sized, from the limited reference I can see. I would think young weird muley or old Coues. The eyeguards are more Coueslike...
Too bad, he had some awesome character. A lot of the skulls I have found with the front of the nose crushed have been lion kills, buried up under trees or bushes. Did he say where he found it? That might help determine Coues or Muley.
Cool pickup rack for sure.
I will ask him where he found it when he returns on Thursday or Friday, he is off work sick for a couple of days.

I have been out only a couple times this year and have 16 browns but they are where I have never found them before
Pics or it didn't happen!

Glad you like it Mike!

Nobody horn hunted when gas was $4 per gallon and brown was six bucks for clean brown. Now a brown six point elk antler will pay for your whole trip which results in way too many people in the woods looking for brown gold.
What does a 6-point shed weigh on average?
I don't know if there is an average but the 6 point I just found weighs about 6.5 lbs.

I am not selling just curious of what the price is for Brown's is this year, last year I believe it was around $12.00 a pound. Does anyone know?

What a great spot, go pick up that big bulls sheds and you might as well pick up the smaller bulls sheds while you are out there!
