Well, this is my first post on the site. I have been a 'viewer' for over a year, but just decided to enlist! I have made the decision to get into some predator hunting in part by all the good things I have seen here. Was looking at getting the FoxPro FX3 and wondered what you all thought. Anyone recommend a place to pick one up or perhaps a different call all together? Thanks for be willing to help out a rookie!

I like 7 but would recommend switching the deer with your security box. The security box should be bigger and the main focus. JMHO.

I didn't realize that unit 8 was ever a unit that was managed as a trophy unit. I thought that only units 1, 9, 10, and 23 had an alternative management plan. As for the increase of tags, a couple years ago I had heard that the forest service had requested an increase of tags to reduce the elk herd in the unit....something about the FS claiming that the elk were cause too much damage to the aspens in the area.
