camo job is stone kote from lowes or home depot with an xim primer. looks cool i think. rabbit came to a lighnin jack call, seems like most of the yotes i`ve been calling in come within 10 minute. missed a bobcat 2 weeks ago @ 20-25 yds jerkitis badddd. but he really liked the lightnin jack with a wounded woodpecker decoy, thay are awesome to watch stalking your decoy. johnny

WHAT CLUB YOU WITH ? JOHNNY

We will be there have 2 teams staying with me. plan on staying in Williams, but if it`s to cold we will be staing in ashfork. Do you know of any good places to camp in near ashfork with lots of room for a couple toyhaulers. last week i went out driving down a gasline road and a bobcat ran across the road , i jumped out of the truck with an ar-15 scanned the area real well and no sign of the cat. decided to put out the foxpro with a wounded woodpecker decoy. got setup starting putting my camo gloves on and the cat ran acroos the road, right by the decoy. i LOOKED TO THE RIGHT TO SEE WHERE HE WENT AND HE WAS SNEAKING UP ON THE DECOY. NEEDLESS TO SAY I Missed twice less than 25 yards. what a rush. johnny sorry about the caps

Well the boy sticks another one, He`s batting a 1000, Brandon Hiller (13 years old ) stuck this javelina sat 01-27-07. He filled all his tags this year ( elk, deer and javelina) plus an 8 lb bass all in less than 9 months, Now he wants to a game and fish officer instaed of a school teacher. I told him don`t let his head get to big. here`s the javelina 01-27-07 Here`s the deer green scored 108" here`s his elk 10-06-06 and here`s his 8 lb bass march 06

WHAT A ROCKIN WEEKEND ! We passed up alot of bucks the last 2 1/2 weeks but we pulled it off. My oldest boy shot this coues on saturday we glassed him up over a mile away before stalking him and with a one shot kill @ 339 yards Now here`s the big story if you guys remember the earlier posts of my 13 year old stickin an 8 lb bass in march 2006, and shooting a 360" elk in oct. 2006. The same boy smoked this 115" plus or minus Coues Whitetail last friday 12-29-06. What an AWESOME YEAR THIS KID IS HAVING. We glassed this deer up friday morning over a mile away put the stalk on him. We got within 285 yards and watched while he was bedded, we sat and waited in the snow ( soaking wet)for 3 hours waiting for this buck to stand up. We could`nt take the cold no more and decided to shoot while he was bedded down. needless to say dead deer. WATCHOUT JAVELINA All in all, all my boys made me proud with the great shooting. Don`t let these guys scare you, there are some really nice bucks in 36c. I recommend doing a little hiking and sitting and glassing your butt off. Move every couple hours to a diferent location and keep glassing under every tree and bush. I have the december 36b tag, I`ll be posting some pictures by the end of the year. If you seem to be having alot of trouble email me hicap40@comcast.net p.s. my buddy`s wife shot a nice 4x4 this year in 36c johnny
