Big moqui was a good guy and treated me right.

I put Magnum RT steps on my Tundra. Runs the length of the sides plus two steps welded on. Look good and strong.

G&F draw portal is working so you can put in online. FYI.

My guys replace brushes every 10 years or so and use the drills every day making custom furniture. We use Panasonic and Makita but all of the new drills that are lithium ion will be good.

Saw it a few minutes ago. Never seen anything like that in my 68 years. Not a meteor and the light was behind the bright spot. Very strange. Thought maybe Little Kim Fatty was nuking us.

They are really razor blades. I use one for cutting salmon up and use a kevlar glove. I also carry a little kit with a syringe, lidocaine, disposable sutures and some tape. I am waiting for my buddy to cut himself so I can practice. Nice buck and glad you made it out OK.

Could just walk over to the guys camp and tell him to move his truck or you will get the Sheriff out to deal with him.
-
I have fished out of there twice with zero bites and $600 each per day. I also fished out of another island and we caught a lot of small tuna. The crew keeps all of the fish. You might get a filet for dinner. I just went in August and no more Hawaii fishing for me. I think it is a ripoff.

Old men that volunteer as wannabe Sheriff deputies and run around the lake in a boat with some kind of flag on it.
-
Don't do it. If you ever watched the volunteer "navy" at Roosevelt running around to hassle people who are boating you would understand. Kind of like the old man that walks around our neighborhood ratting out anyone who lets a weed grow in the front yard. I bought my grandson a plastic playhouse one year and took it out of the truck for four hours then put it back to drive it to Payson. Sure enough the old fart had turned me in and I got a letter.

Buddy got a 7x7 last night. Haven't seen the pix yet. They hunted hard all day every day and finally scored.

Hurricane has been a rental lake for many years. We used to rent it for 50 guys once a year.

I think I bought rounds for my H&K .40 from Cabelas online. That stuff does not cycle well but it kills them with one shot.

I am about ready for a new set of Nitto terra grapplers for my Tundra. I get on ebay and find the lowest delivered price with no sales tax and call my Discount tire and they always match the price. Usually saves me a few hundred dollars.

Why would you try to harm their biz when you caused the problem? No matter about the kids or whatever reason the guides were booked and they did refund the room and say if the guides could book the days then they would refund. Anyone who ever fished or hunted Alaska, Oregon, Washington or anywhere else knows the basic rules of deposits and refunds. If the fishing and guides are good I bet your "friends" are just saying they will never use the place to make you feel better. You are wrong on this one IMO.

That right there is funny!

I hunted that unit for years for turkey, bear and elk. Shot a 360 with my ML. There are some good elk in there and if you can hunt the private land it would be even better. Good luck on the tag sale.

I was president of a marketing company with 100 employees. The company had 2500 employees total and the owners had us on a profit trust plan where we would all get rich. After 100 years they sold to some nasty people out of Texas. The new CEO came to Phoenix and shook hands with every employee I had and asked about their families. He then shut my office door and told me to fire 17% of my people and he would make me rich. I told him to KMA and walked out the door to go elk hunting in NM. They went bankrupt and not one cent was paid to any of the employees who had profit trust statements from $2000 to $500000. I got back from hunting and was hired by our largest competitor to run Arizona for them so all was good.

I had a pair of Smith Action Optics for 20 years then my buddy stepped on them with his 350 pounds on an Alaska trip. I got another pair and still good as new. I fish so need the polarized lens. I always buy the glass amber lens and really like them. Never scratch and the glass is not that heavy.

You need a set of Grundens or Helly Hansen for raingear. They will last you a lifetime and are not that expensive. You can order them online. Take a seasick patch if you ever get sick. It can be rough out there. Good Time Charlies is the place with the huge bouncer with a .44 on his side. You can't miss it. Take lots of cash when you go.

Turkey Road Warrior - Ultimate Road Hunting Pro Edition
Ringer replied to Healy Arms's topic in The Campfire
I have had people ride quads through the woods elk hunting before last light, a pickup with bow hunters in the bed driving around making bad cow calls, turkey hunters in the pickup bed with loaded guns driving around. I just sit tight until they leave then climb a hill and kill something. They are everywhere and don't really piss me off. -
I got another point so that makes 9. By next year i will be too old to pull the bow back. Good luck on your hunts.

With Trump and Zienke I am hoping they purge the department of the hippies and stop the water blasts out of Powell. They will run it at 35000 fps for 5 days no matter how low the water is.
