Hey I was babysitting baby bird so my old man could actually put a stalk on something instead of listening to every branch on the ground snap.

Good luck. There were roads and hunters everywhere I was in the past too. But that was years ago.

Thanks. I need get out and check those cams and find some elk or all the shooting in the world won't be much help.

I am looking to buy some flooring and have hit up Home Depot, Lowes, Lumber Liquidators, Cost Co, Sams Club. Between price, availability and my wife and I agreeing (that's the hardest one) we haven't found that "perfect" flooring option. Anyone have any other places we should be looking or places to avoid? I am located in Gilbert. Thanks in advance.

The Netflix documentary on him is a good one.

Supervising the grandkids. That is serious help. Be sure you will know when the dust starts to fly!

I have seen some looking sweet tile. I am scared to death to do any tile work myself and too cheap to pay someone to do it.

Man great looking floor my wife loves the greys. Thanks for the tip on trim!

Thank you all for the suggestions and warnings.

FWIW The best elk calling advice I ever got was to "leave the bugle at camp and only hit the cow call every 15th time you think you want to." The easiest sin to commit is over calling.

Man good looking buck!

I have had this guy come into my cams for 2 years now. This is the only year he won't be 425+. Can't convince me the rain isn't to blame.

I am sitting here wishing it was December 1st dreaming of big bulls going over the last SD card with a fine tooth comb. I am wondering if these bulls are the same actually bull. I dont have a large sample size but here is what I got. Sorry for the picture quality. The night pictures make it really hard to tell what is what and the bull didnt have the decency to sign in the guestbook that I left for them to sign in on. However if anyone can tell i know it will be the CSI CWT Team.

A potato it would look like. No way to tell. All 270-310" 6 point bulls look the same in that stage of growth I don't know what "a potato it would look like" means but it made me laugh. I assume it to a slight on my camera quality. I would urban dictionary the phrase it but you can't unsee some stuff.

It's just a cheap moultrie camera. I have had a bad case of bear damage to nice cameras and cameras that disappear that I don't buy nicer cameras anymore. Good luck on your bull identification quest.

Az420..... well he don't seem to have any problems on the backend. Nice bull.

This guy seems to be a poster child for good fronts and weak backends. Hope he sticks around long enough for me to catch up with him in person. Don't know for sure if it's genetic or weather conditions. .

Do most auction/raffle elk hunters shoot their bulls while the bulls are still in the velvet? Is this because the antlers haven't been all broken up from the rut or just the novelty of it? Maybe a combination of both? Not many bulls are shot in the velvet, compared to deer shot in the velvet at least. I don't pay too much attention to this year in and year out. A bull in the velvet just seems to be the hallmark of a bull killed with the auction/raffle tag.
