Really enjoyed your story. That is a beautiful bull with some fantastic bottoms! I would love to hear what he taped out at.

That is wild! Congrats on a neat find and thanks for sharing it with us.

I really enjoyed your write up and photos. Congrats on a great buck.

That bull is a thumper! Jody is quite the accomplished hunter. Lot more country to glass now that its all burnt. Good to see that the elk are back in the burn. Congrats.
-
That bull has some great tines! Congrats to the hunter.

Wow!!! That thing is a stud! That has got to be the longest G1 I have ever seen on a coues buck. Hope to hear more details on this one.

Welcome to the club. This is very common. Not sure whether camera thieves or bears are the biggest threat to trail cams. Something about the cams gets bears all curious and wound up and they love to mess with them. Back in the day of trail cams with 35mm film people used to say it was the smell of the film that attracted the bears but now that cameras have all gone digital the bears mess with them just as much. I think it is just something new and curious that maybe makes little noises and flashes and they think it is a new toy that someone has left there just for them.

And a bat flying through the photo! A buck with no testicals usually due to a tangle with a barb wire fence that because he no longer has a normal testosterone cycle doesn't shed his antlers or rub his velvet off. Their antlers usually become pretty non-typical as you can see with this deer. I am not sure if they are called cactus bucks because their antlers look like cactus or because they may have lost their jewels on a cactus. Cactus bucks are pretty rare.

Nice archery buck for sure! Congrats!

You probably did see one crawling on its belly. I have never seen it myself but I have heard people say they have seen coues deer literally doing the "commando crawl"! Crazy!

Those are some really great bucks!
-
Didn't catch that one before. That is a great video and bull!

I like to hang them up and bone them out on the spot. Usually get 35-40 lbs which fits right inside the pack. I Strap the head and cape to the outside and off we go in 1 to 1.5 hours.

A decent collection of bucks I guess Chris is a very accomplished coues hunter especially for only being 31 years old although you would never guess he's that young with all that gray hair

I'd put my money on those mean little pigs. Cool pic!

What an absolute giant! Congrats Jay and Mossback. Antler growth does not appear to be stunted much by the dry year from what we are seeing so far.

Robert Kay's amazing NT Muley! 283 5/8

What a pig! I can't get over how symetrical he is for being so non-typical. Congrats to Mossback on another giant. -
Jay, thanks for giving the Wildcats another opportunity to show our superiority. UofA class of 2006 represented in this post. Bucks range from 96 4/8" to 109 2/8".

Great rams and nice write up! Hope I get to do that some day.

That is a great looking ram and a beautiful mount. Hope I get a chance to do that some day.

I always considered a raghorn to be a 2 1/2 year old bull (2nd year of having antlers).
-
Nice clear video. The one doesn't like sharing your spot there.

Beautiful fish. Sounds like fun!

That is a neat sequence. Great buck too! Good luck to you and your wife.
