Two different units near the rim had the smaller bulls bugling a little bit, and the cows mewing a lot. Saw a bachelor group of 12-15 bulls, all friends still.

Most of the bulls we've seen have been rubbed, except the small ones.

I agree, I feel like it's going to cool off earlier and those units are going to hit the rut really good. Just an opinion though. And yeah, I think you shouldn't har any problems locating a 350" bull in that unit. Good luck on your hunt!

I don't believe it rained enough when it mattered for there to be amazing bone growth. There's going to be great vegetation now of course, but in April/may and most of july when they were growing those antlers big there wasn't much rain at all.

Man, wish I would've seen this earlier. I did alot of fishing this summer but now hunting seasons about to start and more college classes.

What unit?

Alright got a couple questions for all of you.. So in a unit with such a low population density, how are we shooting such big deer out of here every year? Shouldnt the population be decreasing along with the big bucks? Also, where do these deer come from? Utah? Or are these Az deer that stay there year round? Do all the retired big bucks go up there to die or something? Bryan

I have two different types of sure fires, my first one ate threw batteries although it was very bright I hated it. But the second one was even brighter because it had some type of flash looking bulb in it, and the batteries last forever! Same exact flashlight too.
