Well, the reason I was asking was because I was just trying to learn on where these deer migrated from, which they don't from what Im reading. Also because my dad, brother, and uncle all have 13a tags. Which end of the unit do you think holds the most deer? Or is it about the same throughout?

A buddy and i were quail hunting a couple years back and there was rattler in a bush with a gopher in his grasp....the only mistake he made was rattling, scared the poop out of us and he got the loud end.

Psh theyre their...figure out where the water is and sit it, or around it. The unit has decent hunt success to, and the majority of that hunt success is gooood bucks. Not a cake walk, but definitely doable. Everyone that has had an archery tag has told me its an extremely fun hunt! So go put down a biggin and have fun!

The BPs are for DEER period with no subspecies designation. You can apply for Coues one year and mule deer the next one. Points will go to the same total and the loyalty and/or HE point is tacked onto the total. Don't apply for one year or have an app rejected for content or payment, the loyalty point goes to heaven. bps.jpg Want to put in together for elk next year?

Theirs lots of roads up there...like lots! Ever ridge pretty much. You could easily do it out of a car, just hike in off the highway. most of the roads up there are nice dirt roads to. But seriously hiking off the highway and into the burn does wonders! Lots of biggins in there! Is this a late hunt or early? If it snows you would be best with a truck, it gets nasty up there.

I think he texted just about every one haha, sounds like he had a great time! Pm me, i just recently started fly fishing, and i go striper fishing about once a week (twice last week). Might be able to work something out!! Always like helping someone out! -
I've been out atleast once a week for the past 3 week (including last night) and we are catching alot of stripers, but not alot of them with size, we'll catch like 15 or so that are fairly small and 3-4 that are big. The times we catch bigger fish is when we're usin the white floating light, and when we use the sinking green light we catch an abundant amount of small ones. Kinda weird.

Thats awesome! I would love to learn how to catch a carp on the fly, i just recently picked up fly fishing and am curious as to all the tips and tricks. Let me know if youd like to ever get out! Bryan
