Early rifle Bull is only 16 weeks from today. You archers are only 14 weeks. Gettin in shape, Gotta start shootin the gun. I have unit 10. My question is is it more calling or spot and stalk in that unit, or both. Can't wait ,never been there. Allways hunted east side of AZ. and central. I'M not worried as my helpers have every thing under control ,but just curious and what have some of You others experienced there.i hope to get down about 3-4 days before the season. Was hoping to be moved back down by then but My shoulder problems and slow down in the oil field has that plan screwed up. Like I said on here before , I have a pretty 330" on the wall and will be 59 Sept. 6th. May not ever get a great tag again. In unit 1 one time with the Family we saw a hen with 18 little guys run out in front of us. I hear that not to many do make it. Maybee 30%. High grass this year ought to help.........BOB!

When I get back to AZ. I want to Rifle hunt that area before I am to old. (I might be to old now) I have 3 bonus points for Colo. does anybody know what it takes? Good luck New buddy. I did all points as I am spending a bundle on an Elk hunt in Az. I'M coming from North Dakota. Will move back to AZ, next year and cash in 9 deer points and put in for Ant. 11 and Sheep 23 Points. Be down for 2 weeks in Sept...............BOB!

I don't mind paying if it is quality.Elk can't be beat. Deer is terrible. That is what has the most tags so it should be managed much better. Screw the greenies and start killing more cats and coyotes. They still blame a big part on rain. Thats BS. Thats a small part oif it. Its mostly the dang predators. I don't even hunt deer hardly any more in AZ. Just suckering and buying points so I can get a quaility hunt. Memmo to AZ. G&F. Manage your dang deer . Its what most people hunt. If Quantity and Quality was much better, people wouldn't mind paying.................BOB!

While everybody is busy putting in for the Deer draw at last minute, they didn't notice it raining again in unit 10. Allmost mid June I would think wer'e good now as far as moisture. Even if we get no more rain ,We got the growth covered. They just have to finish out now, rub the fuzz off and wait for my 300 Win Mag. Come on Sept. 25th. 108 days to be Precise, just like My bullet.........LOL.............BOB!

Thats what I been saying all along . 7 years and running. Things are no better all fabricated by media. People are still flocking to the oil field here from all over the country , and its half dead right now. I am hauling railrod workers around the State now because of my bad shoulder I can't drive oil truck and lift the hoses, and they a hiring people from all over the country . They say pay is well but all they do is work a ton of hour live in bunk houses or motel ,no time off. no life and most leave this crap hole in a year or less. Only jobs for common man in America............BOB!

Most places in the country they would think wer'e nuts being so excited over rain once a week. For us in AZ. its almost a miracle. I remember many a year with no rain from march until July. For hunting and the well beeing of the forrest this is great. The Desert too for the animals. It might not happen for 10-15 years again. Metorolagist BOB out..........................BOB!
