No pics but I can remember the day . Early Dec. 1970 We both shot at a doe . We don't know who it her but we were just happy . It was my first kill. After shooting nothing but ground hogs in PA .This was big for Me. I thought. It really didn't excite Me It was a dam doe I been a horn hunter all my life. Meat don't excite Me. This is one of the few memories I have with My Dad who is 94 as we speak. He took me out alot when I was young, but don't remember much. Enjoy time with Yur dad as You don't know how long it will last. I look back at 45 years ago and they were probly the best times of My life. My last living uncle or aunt from central Penn moved to Erie PA. in the late 40's from Brookville ,PA. Passed 3 years ago.At the funeral My dad said in the 30''s when uncle Vince was a kid in the late 30's killing rabits in the back yard woods with his brother for the family to eat. And we think we got it rough .My 2 boys in their 20's don't hunt so the late 60's sound like fun.Only God can take Me back in time. it will happen . enjoy the time with Your DAD . there aint much time left..................BOB!

I had the same scenario once, but I drew an early rifle Bull tag in unit one with only 3 points in 96. Did about 5-6 days self scouting and killed a 330 bull with just a buddy tagging along. I remember talking to a guide on the archery hunt while I was scouting. It was a real bad drought year ,and his words were you can get a 330 on Your own( not knowing what I was doing back then} or kill a 360 with him. Funny He was right on with the 330 mark. This year with 20 non res. points I should draw a tag and even now I know what I'm doing I'm still gettin a guide. No time to Scout but should be moving back down there by then. Turning 59 on Sept. 6th that will be my birthday present to myself. Chances at that age I will never have another early rifle bull tag. Easy decision for me ,I want a chance at a 370 type bull or better. Hope theirs been better moisture this year.. Oh Ya and did I ever say winters in N. Dakota suck big time. This is My 4th and I'm done...............BOB!

7.3 I put 350k miles on it and was great till I moved to the cold here in N. Dakota. It didn't like it when it got -30 and that was with it plugged in to a block heater and huge cattepiller batteries.............BOB!

Can't believe 16 pages of hunters can't figure out their own odds. That tells me there are alot of dumb hunters which is good. My buddies in Az. have taken care of my honey holes the 4 years I been gone. I turned em all onto Turkey hunting and they got hooked 10-11 years ago. We then went to Oklahoma for Rio's, I got My Eastern In Pa. where I was born. My Buddies got their Eastern in Iowa where they were born. I got screwed 2 years ago they went to Mexico for Goulds as I got My passport 1 week to late to go. We will all go to Florida for Osceolla when I move back to Phoenix. That will be fun as thats the area I met My wife in 1978. Wanna see how its changed. Then I need My goulds.......BOB!

I put in for real last nite. No problem with system, I bought new lic. 2 weeks ago and it went thru no problem it showed my new lic. #. Now to get that cow tag after 19 years...........BOB!
