I get surgery this Wed. I will still hunt turkey next month shooting with the other shoulder, unless I am hurting to bad. Then I will shoot them with the video cam instead. Yep, Iv'e heard em gobble year round. I mainly hunt 27 and 1 and lotta times in 1 you can't get to Your spots because of to much snow. I think roads is a good excuse for the late start. It aint supposed to be easy. Sometimes it is tho. I hunt all day. allways have. Killed birds all hours of the day too. Tough thing is its a long day. I will allways nap against a tree. Sometimes a gobble wakes You up! . I got a North Dakota tag this year again. Snow melting ,hope it stays away. Last years opener was deep snow. I scored 2 weeks later. Good luk all........BOB!

Being a ex landscaper for 34 years , I allways thought Taxi's could do a better job with foliage on pedistalls. You don't want to much to take away from the animal. This one is Great. Congrats........BOB!

I think alotta Folks that attend the meetings don't go much to complain about tag costs, but more so are there to talk about quality of hunts and habitat issues , Animal #'s and represent their Orginazations. Who ever did attend. Thank YOU. Like I said before ,they don't listen much anyway.........BOB!

+1 on Nikon. Don't waste $ on them . Crap service. As far as spotting scopes go save Your $. I have posted many times on forums ,They aint worth It unless You have the very best. I only own 15 power Minox binos and can find what any body else can, as far as Game. Iv'e had all the cheap spotters up to $800 my self and don't own any now. Just use My 15's all the time. Even a lot of high $ spotters ain't worth it till You get up to the very best. Iv'e tried all of My buddy's that have them,and I will never pay $2500 for some thing that won't get You clarity .Buy the Minox 15's like someone mentioned and that's all You need. It's not a $ issue with Me , but a reliability issue. Not bragging, Just trying to help from experience. If You can only afford $300 take leoupold or Minox over Nikon.........BOB!

Snapshot is right. I don't mind paying either if there wasn't so many dang tags on most hunts. Covering all bases as far as G &F meetings go I used to attend and the same 5-10 Guys were always there. When 1 was speaking the commishes looked dis-oriented. They Really didn't care who was speaking or what they were saying. That is total BS. WE pay their way and all the bills. AS far as getting new vehicles ,I don't have a problem there. Most successful bussiness'es do that. Gotta have reliable transportation. On another side note here in North Dakota I just paid $15 for spring turkey and I think My deer tag was $18.50 last fall. I do mostly non-resident hunts now days living up here and they are all costly. It has become a rich mans hobby if You do out of state. At 57 I don't mind paying. You don't know how many You physically have left. praise the Folks that do try to fight G&F....BOB!

You never know . I drew a early rifle bull tag in unit 1 with only 3 points in 1996. 50 tags and over 6,000 apps. if I remember right. My daughter drew 6A early rifle bull when they had it for 1 year about 9-10 years ago , She had only 4 points. Miracles happen. On the other hand I now have 19 points going into this elk draw and had to wait 15 years to get a antelope tag. Got 21 for sheep also, so it catches up to Ya sooner or later but good can happen too.Good luck to all in the draw! ........BOB!

Kentucky lost tonite , Them and Michigan now have 6 losses too. Hopefully ASU can get ranked ,they only have 6 and 1 more win than Mich. ,but watch these East coast bias voters. Probly won't happen. ASU really doesn't look like a top 25 team but they got the record......BOB!

Forgot to add this ,as far as fans storming the court, that is normal thru out the country when You beat a top team, not even a question there. Technical on Carson ,they did miss that but it whouldn't have made a difference anyway. Plus they probly whould have missed the shots. Coming from a pretty neutral fan , don't blame it on the refs. Hollis Jefferson play was a good no call as well, they were both going for the ball. Cat fans don't be sore loosers. It too bad You lost Ashley. Could of won it all with him. You guys got a by far better program and allways will as long as Herb is around . Show some class and just eat one this time.
