Kev , that plan to go back East and make it work didnt materialize. Thank God . I couldn't live in Youngstown ,Ohio. My new Friend , I grew up with in PA. ,has the same name. Mark time to enjoy life. I will be 64 in 2 months. Have had way to many buddies pass on right after retirement or before. Iv'e worked since I was 15, time for fun . Going thru divorce now after 39 years is tough ,but I been hanging with a Gal I have known since kindergarten. Beautiful Lady and smart too. It will be a work in progress but I think in the long term I can capture Her. Last wife hated me hunting all the time. Buying some new Golf clubs too. Dad went to 98 last year ,but You never know. I am going to enjoy the rest of the Ride the good Lord gives me . Thanks .............BOB!

Well, I Didn't Get Kaibab either. I thought tag # 45 was low enough too. Got 2nd choice 20B and being retitred now I will take My time and hopfully find a BIG one. Good luck all.................BOB!

Mine says tag # 45. I put in in late Kaibab 1st choice with only 2 points. I couldn't get that lucky ,Could I? 2nd choice was 20 b so thats what i been thinking I drew. but there are 75 tags on Kaibab, so I am keeping up my hopes till I see for sure Results................Pray for Me everyone! The way odds are going down here in Arizona in a few years every tag will be a Premium tag. At 64 I am starting to treat them like that. Cause You don't know how many more You have left . I got card hit and only had 2 points. Put late Kaibab west first choice and 20 B any deer 2nd. I am sure i drew unit 20B but lightning could strike. So I am asking for Ideas not honey holes. I hunted it a half day in my life helping a buddy about 12 years ago. I live at Bell and I-17 so I wanted a place this year close to home. I allways hunt far away. I can do ,and will as I am now retired a lot of scouting and find some deer. I just need some starting points and can someone tell me areas to avoid that get clobbered with hunters. I used Duwane 2 years ago. Catfish Kev was in camp. I been on 4 guided hunts in my life., will be 64 in Sept. and hope I get to use Duwane again someday.. Everything was firsts class. I was sick as a dog ,real bad cold and He accomadated me perfect. Took me to a spot where I didn't have to hike to far and the glassing was great yet some what secluded. Was able to kill a nice buck at dark opening day then sleep in heated tents with Nyquil for 3 days. First class food , guides comoderie ,You name it. On a 1 to 10 scale He was an 11. Couldn't see anybody doing any better. Ther are some other good ones out there too.,but for Kaibab , no other gets it done like they do. total Professional outfitt from top to bottom...........BOB!

What truck rides better on the road. I do way more miles on road now that I'M getting older . I am about ready to pull the trigger. At 64 I a have had nothing but Fords and very good ride. The only one to give me problems is My current one and only in the last 6 months. Mostly Electrical. I have had 2 F-350's put 350K on both no problem ,3 F-150's no problem and high miles and a New Ranger (88) I would never reccomend. Some one convince me about Dodge and I will Listen. They are the nicest looking ,but I known since mid 70's like to break down and fall apart....Thanks..PS. This will probably be my last Truck................BOB!
