I drive to So Cal in the Rig 4-5 days a week,I just started listening to them 2 months ago ,I like Jay Scott cause He has alot of local stuff and guests,His voice doesn't bother me but saying FOR SURE 50 time a podcast does., I do Epic Outdoors, and Randy Newburg Too.His laugh is weird and annoying. Time to expand a little. Have to try western Hunter.,,,,,,,,,BOB!

From Phoenix the BAB is allmost like an out of state hunt. Thats why I went guided. on late hunt it is cold I had no good tent or camper. By time I scouted 2-3 times and lost work and rented camper, I would of had 3500 $ into it . For 2 K more You get guide and knoledge.....BOB!

I am biased for Duwane ,cause I used Him in Nov. last year and everything was perfect. All the other guys listed are good too.Its a matter of knowing where to go. Good luck.........BOB!

Just got done watching this Movie where Sammuel Jackson takes over as coach at a High school that sucked in basket ball. I rarely watch a movie{except for with Trphyhunter in those pepe booths on Van buren LOL}This Was a good one to watch for inner city school Kids. He turns the team around and got scholarships for kids that had no chance in life. And the team allmost won the title. Brought back memories for me even tho my team was 46 years ago. Very similar situation. Strong Movie to Motivate Kids..............BOB!

Couestracker, Its a whole different world down there ,isn't it. I loved when I killed mine in the same unit 2 years ago. Might end up hunting deer there this year as I only have 2 points. I love that country.Sure different than where I killed this year in Unit 1. Congrats again.......BOB!

I had a unit 1 tag yesterday. in the morn had a bird roosted thought it would be a sure thing. Got there 1 hour early set up a decoy that I normally don't do, Bird is hollering away on the roost. Comes down and goes other way. . I followed and chased and headed off. We played till 9;30 ,Got a few of his hens to come in but he would stay 100 yards out consistantly. We went up and down hills over a creek zig zag . was an educated bird ,One of the toughest I ever had. Finally he quit talking and game over. He kicked my butt. I was sore mid day.Afternoon got windy I just slept against a tree hoping one would come thru . Nothin. Half our before dark I decided to move and try to roost a bird for next day. Tried about 5 spots ,nothing. Then at the last place I went where I heard one the night before , One blasts off hundred yards out. I thaught thats my play for tommorow as it is getting dark. I got off the road and much to my surprize He's closing distance. I grab the gun ,get set up and sure as heck He keeps coming. At 35 yards boom ,1 shot with # 4 pheasant shot he was down . Still legal shooting lite ,but getting dark I didn't think he would come . It was 7: 10 or 7 :15 PM. So easy and it made up for all the hard work in the morning I did. Talked to 7 guys from 2 other camps and nobody killed. I feel this was a lucky one, but it came from being persistant and not giving up and working till last minute of day. Never give up hang in there. I have allways hunted birds all day. Killed a couple Mid day and as many at nite as in the Morn. But the Morn is the funnest I think. The rest of the day is working it. Pics to come in an hour ,gotta go get more ice rite now. Finally ahunting story from me instead of Bullcrap. LOL..........BOB!

Thats my only complaint is Why goverment and so many public workers get to retire young? I'M all for giving Them raises and paying them well. but like some one metioned We ,the rest of us have to work till 65. There are alot of em on i-10 From Vicksburg to the border, Every day when I go to Cali. And they do have equipment ,Jacks etc. to help people change tires. Be surprized how many people don't have tools to fix flats. Bet the carry jumper cables too. .............BOB!

Prdatr. It was tough for sure. I got lucky, Right place right time. But maybee Turkey instincts put me there. I'd say about 70% of the 16 or 17 birds iv'e killed over the years were just committed and came. The others I had to play with. I can recall 3 different misses over the years too.I do have 4 species mounted. Hope to go to Fla. next spring for Osceola.. That will complete My slam of 5 Species. I'M not going to centrel america for the Osselated. Woody sad to here Pete is closed. Probly not enough talent in there to bring in enough People.LOL.
