Couestracker--I should have worded that a little different. I know scent gland is in the hide, my preference when skinning is once passed the gland and hide is coming off i change knives.
-
What i have done when skinning is use 1 knife for removing skin from around scent glands and change knives to complete the skinning job. Prepping meat the same as any other game will take care of the rest. Have made meat in crock pot, hole, etc and have had no complaints. Best of luck to all Javi hunters.

All luck of the draw. Know an individual that hunted units 10-27 and 1 all early bull hunts consecutive archery at that. Go figure.

carharts different colors to choose from. Can't go wrong.

Congrats to the young man for taking a trophy- no less with an arrow. Any game with an arrow is a trophy. How about everyone focus on that with the comments.

Nature Girl captured it all on her last 2 sentences. Just as full service gas stations have gone by the wayside, pumping your own fuel, washing the windshield, etc. it has become the norm, so is changing a tire if need be. Being shown the correct and safest way to do it and then following the steps--nothing like hands on training--Nature Girl will be able to continue on her travels without a worry.

There is a propane place on Ironwood/Apache Trail in AJ. Northbound on Ironwood right before you get to the intersection on east side of road next to a 4 wheel drive shop. They will send your tanks off and get new style valves and come back full of propane. Decent pricing and fast service. Aero Propane Gas 480 982 8280.

Are 15X's that much of an advantage
chico replied to joeinaz0's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
can't go wrong with the 15's. I carry them in the pack and use a set of 10's around my neck when moving . Worth the space that the Swaro's take up in the pack. Buy once and beg for forgiveness later. Momma will understand. -
word is getting out- saw pics of spikes on local news station this morning here in the valley. Hopefully no individuals get hurt from these spikes being put out that way. Nothing but harm intended when these type of things are done out in public land.

good luck with the 25-06. have one myself # 1 varmint special -it is a tack driver. my sons have taken a few animals with it. grand sons will start shooting it shortly.

Sure. Took kids on first whitetail hunt down by Arivaca. hunted north of town forgot the unit number, Batamote Rd. cuts right through the middle of it.. If you are going with others split the cost and stay in Continental/Sahuarita. Kids had a good time, warm shower/bed at night and no worries. took electric wok and fed them well. Good luck.

Today take the time to wish all the ladies in your life be it moms, sisters, aunts, etc. A Happy Mother's Day! For without the guidance given from these special ladies where would we be.

Thought I would throw this out in case anyone has run into this. Long crank times/no start issues. Engine fires then stalls. Problem- Fuel drains back to tank due to vacuum leak at fuel priming pump housing.. A reseal kit is available for the fuel priming pump at some parts stores . Before fuel filter housing was non serviceable- now can be taken care of.

Well off to pay the powers that be. Blows that it has to be this way. We both get soaked claiming married with zero and still have to pay!

that's what i think it is. the drinker is sitting off to the side of it. could have a tank sitting underneath the catchment hard to tell.

Find a truck with a 7.3 , to bad the powers that be decided to go to the 6.0. Nothing but problems. Very happy with my F-350 and 7.3. Pull toy hauler and what have you with no problems. Best choice I made was to keep it.

congrats to the young fellas, getting it done, good job! -
After checking cameras on public land over the summer and arriving early for the archery elk hunt crew ready to go. Imagine the surprise driving up the same road to area cameras have been set on to start hunting and finding a fella sitting in the road on a lawn chair trying to direct traffic, on same road you have been traveling all summer. Keep in mind - public land.

Read post #20 and #24 should be clear enough. good day to all.

Congrats to the young hunter and everyone with him.

Sure is funny, laughed at the dumb--s trying to block the road. Even more coming back out with an animal in the back of the truck.
