  1. I have come to love the great outdoors and especially hunting but, the memories and stories around the camp fire have and will always leave a imprint in my mind. Lately, I have seen fellow sportsman just give up on what they love so much, and over so many dumb reasons too. I have seen my buddy Shawn sell almost all of his hunting equipment simply because a other hunter was using his tree stand and his hunting area one day, and that's not how it should work. You can't just give up now. You have to think of the next generation folks. It is our job to preserve this resource we call mother nature. I will never give up on the greatest thing in my life. I plan on teaching my children all about hunting, as my father did for me. I know they will have just as much respect for the outdoors as I do, and when I get old and can't drive, they will be taking me hunting, fishing, camping, and even hiking and showing me what mother earth has taught them.

  2. I seen his post and also seen his classified ad on the .270 WSM he is selling ( I don't have the money). It is a great deal but about an hour ago, I recieved a call, from my friend who is a MCSO sheriff and bought my Remington SPS .270 Winchester and he told me he is going through some $h!t, I mentioned trying to buy my rifle back and he said he will since I been bugging him and that he is looking at a divorse (after his wife left him today while at work) and his house going to the bank. He is also planning on having a yard sale and selling his Toyota Tacoma so his wife doesn't get that from him from the divorse. I'm happy to get my beautiful rifle back soon but I feel bad for the guy since he is a great friend to me and my fiance.

  3. Great post, and thank you for sharing an amazing story of your great experience. Your wife's voice echoing in your conscious was right and you followed it. CONGRATS on a beautiful feline, and I tip my hat to you since you did something that alot of people never achieve without the help of dogs B) . I can't wait to post my experience when I hunt for my mountain lion this year, I bought my tag recently and that's all I been thinking about ;) .

  4. After doing research, I'm going back to a trusty Remington 700SPS or 770 in a .270 or 25-06. I love the remington brand and It was my first firearm I ever had. I bought the Remington 870 12 gauge when I was 19 and I pass it down to my kids. Along with the next Remington Rifle I get.

  5. I hear people using bait but the rabbits should do it, heck even the chicken idea from antlerobsession would work, But as bowhunt said, if there going after turkey, "try using a turkey call". Always stick with the calling and ad long pauses in between, these AZ coyotes can be tricky ;) so stay with it even if you don't see any for over a hour. They will eventually investigate the noise especially if it the same sound as there food source. But, I'm sure they will come as soon as you start calling from the sounds of things... Best of luck on your hunt B). PS Trapping would help your brother greatly and now I really understand the importance of trapping, those coyotes will take everything you have unfortunately, if you guys don't act ASAP.
