.270 Win, 49-2x fired Winchester cases $10 FTF North Phoenix or Meet at Bass Pro shops during evening commute. Thanks, Mike

If nothing else, stand the rifle vertical with the action open. The chimney effect helps cool a little quicker. Then shoot your .22 or whatever.

I'll take it per our PMs Thanks Mike

Price drop to $950, please contact Robert with any questions.

For a Rem 700 I'd talk to Bob Brackney in Wickenberg.

I'll stick with earplugs but am curious as to the maintenance for these. Any special service requirements? -

Thanks, I had never heard of this back in my service rifle shooting days. -
Anyone willing to help me instal my new barrel on my AR10????
Mike S replied to Big Browns's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
What does the lapping do? Just curious as on ARs the bolt locks into the barrel extension and the upper is just along for the ride... -
Looking for suggestions for a lighter stock
Mike S replied to PRDATR's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I'm happy with the carbon Hunter's Edge stock on my M70. McMillan has a lot of different Remington patterns, you can see them at their shop by Deer Valley Airport. They stock some models, otherwise they are a long lead time item and maybe too late for this fall. -

Anyone have trouble with stick powder in their powder measure
Mike S replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Stick powders can definitely "bridge" in the spout. Sometimes you can tap it and get it to flow, otherwise dump that one and throw another, especially if you are not trickling up to the final weight on a scale. This is the reason the "short cut" powders were developed. Ball powders will not do this, although they can be more temp sensitive in my experience. My RCBS measure has two spouts with different internal diameters. If yours does use the larger one... Re-reading your post, It sounds like you are feeling the kernels being cut by the drum when rotating. That is normal for long stick powders. -
My old 10x50 SLs came back with a new body/serial number a few years back. If there is an issue with the prisms that's all they can do. Great service.

We have the shorter offroad style Starcraft RT10 and like it a lot. Ours does not have the storage platform at the front and can get into some pretty tight places.

If you can wait until January there are lots of buyers in town for the auctions... -
I have shot a ton since I got from you. Still haven't shot this one though. The safe is overflowing and other wants on the mind. Hope all is well my friend! I know the feeling. I took it on trade and liked it, just couldn't get used to a semi after shooting doubles for years. Good luck with the draw!

For carry use only, I'd go with an Uncle Mikes mountain sling. Very lightweight and has a non slip pad where it contacts your pack strap. I use a Brownells Latigo sling and use it as a shooting sling in conjunction with my pack instead of a bulky/heavy bipod.
