It is about 10 years old but saw little use (my dog died). I assume it may be the orginal version. When I dug it out a last month the collar battery would not hold a charge so I bought a new one from tritronics. It has held its charge for over two weeks now... I also found a nylon holster/ carrier that I'll include.

Check with Accuracy Speaks in Mesa. They do a wide variety of work with reasonable rates.

Mine was near Fire Mountain. I killed it the second Saturday. I heard the other was shot by a local guy on the first or second day. How old was yours? The growth rings were tight on mine (drought?) and it was hard to decide on 8 or 9 years, but they went with 8 on check in.

Great ram, love the bases. The time spent with family makes it that much more special. Flash: if you buddy needs info on the unit, I killed my ram there in 2006 and am happy to share what I know. Mike
