The pork shop tamales were very good with lots of meat. The red chili pork was nice and spicy. Haven’t tried the green chili yet.

the pork shop in QC sells handmade tamales that look good but haven’t tried them. i’ll stop by today and pick some up and report back. All their stuff is usually really good. no, they aren’t cheap ($15/6) but i’ll try them anyway. I’m definately not a tamale connoisseur 🤣

I’m from MN originally and there is a huge problem with poaching in the Hmong community in MN and WI. Not shocked. Also, they shoot anything that moves so if you see them be careful lol.

I have a Athlon Ares UHD G2 spotter. It’s a little heavy, but nice and compact and the glass punches way above its price. Not sure if I would trust one of their scopes on a hunting rifle, but for a spotter I hardly ever use i’m fine with it. I’d like to see more testing on the scopes to see if they track and hold zero reliably.

It it were me, I would use the camper for the hunt, but don’t full tank or lines with water just leave it dry that hunt. old fashioned hot soapy water and dishrag to wash off.

Just got my pecans and made a batch of candied pecans in air fryer. dang good. 12 oz pecans 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp cinnamon 1 tsp salt 1 egg white In a bowl mix pecans with an egg white to cover pecans. In another bowl combine sugars, cinnamon and salt. After all pecans are coated with egg white mix everything go together and air fry for 5-7 min at 350°. Once done let cool on parchment paper for a while to let candy harden. I had to air fry in 2 separate batches My home smells like Bass Pro Shop now.
