Savage Accu Stock, Bottom Metal, Mag. Mdl 110

MDT chassis. -
Selling The Accu Stock, bottom metal and magazine from a Savage Model 10 FCP-SR. These are take offs from an unfired rifle. The gun came out of the box and went straight to project mode. Short action, .308 with hvy bbl and side bolt release. From what I have researched, these are sold without the accu stock as well for a little lower price, so if someone out there has one and wants an upgrade and a spare mag here is your chance. MSRP on these mags is pretty silly at $79. I don't think the stock is worth much more than that so I'm asking $150 for all of it. Screws aren't pictured but are included. PM me a phone number and we can meet up. I'm in Tucson but travel to Phx area for work once a week lately.

I made a bunch of those little stoves too. I liked them, but ended up just buying one of the titanium Vargo stoves at Summit Hut because it is half the size of any venom can stove I ever made and probably ten times more durable. I use the minimalist cookset too. I might be moving the vargo stove to a backup soon. Just picked up one of the Emberlit stoves. I have not tested it yet. I am excited about not having to carry any fuel at all though.

+ 1 On TOPO! +1 More on Tucson Map and Flag. That is where I purchased TOPO! Hurry, they start running low on the USGS maps about this time of year. If they are out, go to The USGS office downtown. Very easy to access even being downtown. I usually print out the entire unit on the highest zoom and number them in a grid fashion and put them in a binder. I only have to carry a few sheets at a time in the field. I don't feel bad about marking on them or, folding and unfolding or wear and tear that way as I can just replace them myself one small sheet at a time. I also make identical maps for my dad, since he cannot get out as far. Important to tell others where you are going, even better if you can show them on an identical map. Leave one with wife or freinds if you are going out alone

It's still sprung under, so I doubt someone went to the trouble of swapping in 60's just to leave them like that. Mine had 44's front and rear. I have owned 2 of them, great rigs, pain to find mod parts for engine and trans though. I always wanted to just swap everything from a half ton Chevy into mine, but figured with all that work might as well have a Blazer. I liked them because they were bigger than a jeep, a tad bigger than an early Bronco, and smaller than a full size Bronco or Blazer. You still get a narrow track with decent indoor storage.

Do plenty of research on access. Game and fish website has some good tips on ways to get in. I will also say that I think it sucks the dirty trick the county is playing on the public out here. They have purchased ranches in the area, and don't have the authority to close them off like they would love to, so they post signs that would make the average joe think that pure heck will reign down if they enter. If you get access, the "rules" they lay out are intimidating as well. They can't come out and say they don't want you there, but by the state of disrepair the roads and gates are in, I would say that people are indeed avoiding these areas like the county wants. Eventually the roads will cease to exist and the county will have less to worry about.

I drew a Kiabab tag on my very first(and only) try. I have been drawn for deer every time I put in except 2. Coming up on 20 years doing it. I think others here have it right. I don't usually put in for hunts with low draw odds, I just want to be out there with a tag and some family. Budget has been keeping the hunts close to home in recent years, luckily close to home has plenty of opportunity.

You mean there was a team fatbastard?? Those bastards stole my name!! No, it was not me, maybe they have a spot on the team for me next year. I want to do the 40 on a mountain bike next year. I regularly ride 10-15 on trails, occasionally 20. I surprised myself with a decent time on the 10 miler at Tour of The White Mountains last month. 40 on the road should be within grasp with some extra practice this year.

The family had a great time out there today. No complaints from any of the kids. I was not sure how my 8 year old would like 6 miles, he has never ridden that far. The new (to him)bike must have been spot on, he was ready for more!! My two younger sons and wife had a great time too, the day was without incident, weather was perfect, parking downtown was no sweat, the coffee at the finish line was free. The perfect storm for a great family day. daryl_s, I hope you had a good one too. The sprint for the finish in the big race was amazing, they had to be going 30+, just inches apart at the finish line.

Anyone hunting 34A after Thanksgiving?

That is a terrible draw, what bad luck. See you out there. -
What area were you in? We had our travel trailer stolen from our driveway early one afternoon. I had a padlock holding the ball latch open. My neighbor said it was a Nissan pickup! They stole a 22ft trailer with a compact pickup without locking it to the ball. It was recovered 2 years later, someone was living in it down in Sahuarita on property owned by their family. I hope you get it back. I will keep an eye out.

My whole family is signed up for fun rides. My wife and #'s 2 and 3 sons are doing three miles, Me and # 1 son are doing 6. I am scrambling to get his first mountain bike together so he doesn't have to do 6 on a bmx race bike. Mountain is all I ride, I even used it hunting a few times, but I couldn't figure the logistics of getting 300 lbs of me and my gear, my rifle, and my buck all out the way I pedaled in. Dads quad to tha rescue. Mountain bikes are a great way to get in far and fast.

Yeah, that is total b.s. Blatant disrespect, spit in the face. If you ain't there first, it ain't your spot. I at least try to contact them if I see them and if the area looks big enough that they might share. I have stumbled upon a few, but when I see them, I back out. This dude can smoke a Richard in heck.

Our cub scout pack did a flag ceremony at the whistle stop in Vail on Thursday. This thing is cool. I like machines in general, part of the reason I like guns. If you have never been near one, you should check it out. I like seeing them in operation myself (steamers), you can go many places and see one that does not work, to see them in action is just plain awesome.
