As I continue to clean out the reloading room, I am amazed at the the things I forgot I still have. I found a stash of Remington 9.5 Large Rifle primers behind a shelf filled with other stuff. I have about 8,000 of the Rem 9.5 primers. Not gonna use these in this lifetime. I am really more interested in trading them for other items that I need. That way, I am trading inflated dollar items for inflated dollar items and nobody's feelings get hurt. if nobody has what I am looking for, then I will be open to selling them. Trade items I am looking for: Sightron SIII 6-24x50 scope; Atlas BT47-LW17 Bipod; RL26 powder; Lee hand primer (small); Berger 230 gr. You could be right. I inherited this stock, so I just looked it up on the website. The banner says At-One, but it is confusing whether it refers to the models below, or the one model above. I will remove the reference just to avoid any confusion. Thanks for catching that.

Ballistics, case capacity of the 300 PRC are much closer to the 300 Win Mag than the 300 RUM or 300 Norma Mag.

This is the very reason why I went with the 300 WSM for my current Tikka build.

I have 8 lbs of IMR 8133 that I probably won't be using any time soon. IMR is owned by the same people who own Hodgdon and they advertise the 8133 as IMR's answer to Retumbo. Hodgdons burn rate chart shows it right next to Retumbo. Let me know if you have any interest.

Have the potential seller run a tight patch down the bore and measure how long it takes to complete one revolution of the cleaning rod. Easiest and best way to really confirm twist. I have found a couple of rifles in my day that were different than what was labeled on the box from the factory.

I have some, but I am into them at nearly $1.00 apiece. It's just what I had to pay with price + shipping. If that is OK, then send me a PM and we will work something out. if not, I understand completely. Maybe work out some sort of trade?

Just got back from Bruno's. It was pretty busy. As I left, they started limiting powder purchases to 2 pounds per customer. They said they got 80 pounds of retumbo (what I was buying) and that it would all be gone by the end of the day. Retumbo, H1000, H4350 & Varget were all $59.95 + tax per 1 pound bottle.

I have no reason to go there, but I'm willing to help out. The problem is: Their prices can be high and I wouldn't have time to call everyone to make sure they are still wanting to purchase. I have found that sometimes their store prices are slightly different than their website prices. I just don't want to get hung out to dry by paying for items that never get picked up. How could we make this work?

Cleaning out the reloading room continues. The following are up for grabs: 1) Couple of black stretchy nylon ammo stock packs 2) New FDE stock pack w/raised cheek piece. I have one bag of unfired Winchester 270 WSM brass I could part with. I have lots of 1X fired brass I am still using. Bag has been opened only to prep brass (flash holes reamed & necks chamfered). I have no idea what these are going for. Any possible trades?

Give us some idea what you are looking for: Base model that will get the job done? Varmint model with slower twist? Long range coues rifle with faster twist for heavier bullets. Upper end custom?

Is there a set of rules for conduct when buying/selling in the classifieds? I just did a cursory view on the site and couldn't find what I was looking for. I recently had a deal go sideways with a newbie seller who didn't understand an "I'll take it" post in his thread. Losing out on the deal was minor compared to the amount of time I wasted putting my schedule on hold (it meant a couple hour trip to pick it up from him) , waiting for him to respond to me. When I told him how things normally work on the site, I wanted to refer him to some ground rules as to how we operate. Do they exist, or is it something we have informally made up and others learn over time by being on the site? I'm talking about such things as an "I'll take it" posting in a thread, or how a posting in the thread takes priority over a PM, etc. Inquiring minds want to know......
