    WTS: SOLD

Just what the title says. I have 255 of these bullets left. They shot great in my 6.5-06 AI and I even used one to drop a big black bear at 365 yds. I have since gone to a different bullet and 6.5 caliber rifle, so I have no need for these bullets. Price is $150. The first "I'll Take It" in this thread trumps any and all PM's, regardless of time stamp on PM. This way, every interested party can see what's going on with the understanding that no other negotiations are going on behind his back. Save the PM for questions you may have. I live in N Scottsdale area, but can meet at BP Shops near 101 and 202 Loops or at Sportsman's Warehouse near I-17 and 101 Loop.
  3. Need to raise some cash for an upcoming hunt, This is one of my favorite rigs. This custon rifle was built by well-known gunsmith Kirby Allen out of Montana. You can check out his website here: https://apsrifles.com . Custom components for this build are as follows: Action: Lawton 7000 Repeater with 20 MOA Base. All gunsmithing work (blueprinting action, chambering, barrel tenon threading. muzzle threading) was done by Kirby Allen. Bolt: Fluted by LongRiflesInc. Barrel: Lilja Match Stainles Steel in #4 contour. Finished at 26" with 1 in 8" twist Brake: Defensive Edge by Shawn Carlock (indexed) Stock: Manners Ultralight Carbon Hunter (now known as EH Series) with Five Color Cerakote in Kryptek camo with installed short picatinney rail Trigger: Huber Concepts 2-Stage set at 1 lb. Bottom metal: Std. Rem 700 BDL II have nearly $3,500 of top quality parts & gunsmithing labor in this build. Lawton was a machine shop that specialized in custom rifle parts. It closed after the owner passed away. Also included with the sale of the rifle: a set of Redding 6.5-06 AI dies; 148 of 2-X fired 6.5-06 AI Winchester brass fully fire-formed from 270 Win brass; Hornady modified case for bullet seating test; and bore guide. The rifle weighs 8 lbs. as is. It shoots in the 0.5 MOA range when you do your part. It loves both the 130 gr. Accubond and the 156 gr Berger bullets (3,075 fps) - very stout load. The ballistics of the 6.5-06 AI are equal to the 6.5 PRC. This rifle has taken everything from coyotes to elk. The stock has some paint chips near butt stock from normal field use. If you do not want the 2-stage trigger, I would be happy to reduce the price by $200 and keep it. Price is: $1,950

WTS - Tikka T3 Long Action STD Bolt Face (Take-Off)

Price is per action. They are T3 actions. They are the oem rings that come with the rifle. No separate base as dovetail is milled into the action itself.

Are you looking for a magnum or standard bolt face caliber? Also, in a previous post on this topic, you mentioned not wanting to pay 'full retail'. Could you give us CWT members some idea as to what you feel is 'full retail' vs. price range you would find reasonable for a used rifle?
  7. This is a BNIB Sightron SIII long range scope model #25127. I bought one several years ago and then picked up two more. This one has sat in the safe for the past couple of years, waiting on a build that is now not going to happen. Only taken out of box for pictures, so glass and body is pristine. These scopes have excellent Japanese glass and track flawlessly. I have never had any problems with my other two Sightrons. The scope is a great mid-tier option for someone wanting to get into longrange shooting or maybe put on a great mid-range rifle. I have consiostently made shots well beyong 1,000 yds with this model and it has always returned to zero. The turrets are MOA with 15 MOA total per revolution of turret. Reticle is also MOA with floating dot and 2 MOA hash marks on verticle and horizontal axis. Sightron outlines all the features on their website. The MSRP on this model is $1,095, but I have seen them on sale every now and then for $950 plus tax. Price is $900. Price Drop $850.

    WTS: Redfield Rebel 3-9x40 Scope

This came mounted on a rifle I recently purchased. I have no use for the scope at this time. It is a simple 3-9x40 Redfield Rebel scope with 1" tube. Glass appears to be pristine. The scope retails for $200 plus tax on Amazon. Revised price is $90. Not looking for trades at this time. I live in N Phx area near 101 Loop and 56th Street.

    WTS: Redfield Rebel 3-9x40 Scope

$200. Sorry about that. I must have mis-timed the shift when I typed the '4' to get the dollar sign. Just looked at Amazon pricing on line and assumed it would be lowest. Academy does have a great price, so I have adjusted mine accordingly.

WTB old black powder. east valley

I have some, but it is pretty scarce to find right now. I also have some partial cans of black powder substitutes such as Pyrodex and Triple Seven. I assume you are aware that black powder 'explodes' while modern propellants burn. It can be tricky stuff when you put a match to it. Where do you live? I'm up in the N. Scottsdale area.
  23. Just pulled this off a rifle I recently purchased, so I have no history with this scope and it doen't fit my current needs. I will probably regret selling this at some point in the future. This Kahles Helia has the same German SHOT glass for which all Kahles scopes are famous. The scope has a 1" tube and is best suited for close to medium range rifle work. The reticle is the 4A Plex, which is much harder to located than the standard Kahles Plex reticle. Both the Objective and Ocular lenses are pristine and free from any scratches. The aluminum scope housing is matte black with a couple of small, but visible scratches in the objective bell finish as well as some slight marring where the rear ring was located. I have included images of these areas in pics 4 & 5. I can't think of anything I need at this time as far as trades go - unless you happen to have a TBAC 30 cal. 5/8x24 SR mount hanging around somewhere. First "I'll Take It" in this thread trumps any emails or PM/DM's regardless of time stamp. Save those for questions about the scope. I live in N. Phx/Scottsdale area near 101 Loop, but will to meet in half way in greater Phx area. Price is $700. Now $650.
