I have the lueplod VXL I love the scope it has the B/C retical, I called luepold and I told them what caliber and they told me what to sight in at and what the lower lines will be at, they were right on the money. just my .02

casey 80 yards with a bow.....what if he takes a small step your screwed. 80 yards with a bow gives that buck about a second or more to move a little then your screwed. gut shot. I know cause I have been there and this deer was a lot closer than that.

I was in 5a this weekend the smaller bulls are with the cows. I heard some bugles in the mornings and at dark, get ready its close I think the rut this year is going to be very good for the bow hunters.

casey told me this story about a time when he went to a bar. well when he woke up the next day the first yhing he had to do is go the the bathroom real bad, well when he got to the bathroom he noticed that he had 3 rings around his little "friend" one was pink, one was red, and one was brown! he also said that that made him real nervous so he went to the doctor and the doctor took a sample of the rings. He comes back in about an hour and said Casey I have some good news and some bad news! Casey wanted to hear the good news first so the doctor told him that the red ring as well as the pink ring were both lipstick. He was kinda happy about that so he asked what the brown ring is? the doctor told him it was copenhagen.

thats neat to see. I saw a calf elk like that a few years ago I didn't want to touch it though but I enjoyed seeing it.

the other problem that you could have is if you are torque the bow via bad hand placement on the grip. just put an arrow in your bow and see how close the cables are from the arrow. they should be 1/4 inch or better.

you should try to adjust your cable gaurd if you can. sometimes it just set screw and a little turn and that should clear your fletches. good luck

I think it has alot to do with how many cows are in the area. The more the cows the less the game. ithat has been my experience.
