The dumbest thing I do on my hunts is take them so serious that I forget to enjoy myself. Next year I will have the mind set to have fun first and kill a 110 buck second.

we arrived late fri morning set up our camp, we loaded our gear and drove to places unknown for me, I found a place that was a wilderness area, we started glassing and saw a few does right away and 2 small bucks and we also saw about 6 other hunters so we walked to a place that had a few big bowls and started glasing, We located 3 does and a spike buck and then I saw a buck bedded under a tree, I ranged him at 520 yards, I try to move quitely but it was impossible the rocks were like baseballs or so it seems, I finally made my way to a ridge that put me around 275 yards so I set up for a shot, bipods don't work worth a dam on the side of a hill but I made it work one shot and he was down right in his bed. I have never set foot in this unit till friday due to work my schedule, I always like to do as much preseason scouting as possible. Southern az was awesome I did not see the illegal aliens and trash that I expected.

so what do they do that cost 500 bucks change the oil check air in the tires. I can do most of the maint myself instead of letting the UTI students mess it up.

What did the extended warranty cost you and what does it cover, oh yeah how long does it cover the machine? I would have to look and see but it was around 1000.00 and it does not cover crap. the belt was not covered nor the cv boots, waste of money don't get it, the warranty is just that its not insurance, They say that stuff is normal wear and tear and they won't cover it, It does no good when your belt breaks the first day of a 10 day hunt.

I feel the same way for the g&f for creating this situation. Quality is gone, now it tag sells how many they can get into one area.

a-men overcome and find a better spot I know that sucks just the name of the game anymore. Its almost like your not hunting just trying to avoid the crowds, then you can hunt, I know the feeling.

agreed I carry a spare with me and the tools to change it, I installed a drive belt of the RZR it is more heavy duty than the original, Its a must have for the rangers.

I have a ranger, the reliabily is not that good in the last six months I had to replace the drive delt and the front cv boats. stupid stuff that should not go wrong that soon, but overall a good machine.

check out a .270 if she says it hits to hard go with a managed recoil load.
