Most bass boats are for hauling ase. if you have the correct prop "ski prop" you can ski with a bass boat. but dont expect to go fast with that prop. so you would want 2 props for the best of both worlds.

What ever you do when looking for a used boat make sure you lake test it and run it hard "full power" for a long way, If it can handle the test drive it should be Ok, A hard run will show most motor problems. A new water pump and lower unit oil should be the first thing you change out reguardless if the owner said he just did it,cheap insurance. If the gell coat is sun faded its an easy fix and you can make them look like new with some elbow grease. Look at the trailer real good also, check the tires for uneven wear this usually can mean a bent axle or even frame. these things can be big headache.

I have seen 3 bull elk killed with the shuttle-t broadhead. all the blades stayed intact and they seem to fly good also.I have a cow tag this year and plan on using these this year. congrats on your bull tag.

I fished a bass tournament this weekend at alamo, the bass fishing was awesome it didn't matter what tactic you were fishing it all worked, just not any size to the fish I caught..you could easy catch 50 bass a day. The crappie fishing seemed to be good as well.I didn't fish for crappie but talked to people that had a good day. If you like to shoot carp with your bow now would be a good time. we saw hundreds there were everywhere. the water was clear down to about 12ft on the west end of the lake.

Archery won't get you drawn much faster, in fact some archery tags are harder to get than rifle tags. all depends. good luck

The .257 wby is a great round with the right bullet, I do not recommend the nosler ballistic tip for anything, my friend shot a coues at 325 yards and the bullet never made it though the the front shoulder, fragments is what killed the deer. His gun is a tack driver though, light recoil, expensive as heck to shoot if you don't reload. I would love to build one on a remington action. I am trying to work out some details for the build.

Good luck.. sounds like a happy ending is coming soon. -
I completely agree this could have been anything. I was in 36b for more than a week, I only saw 1 drug smuggler and he has only carrying a handgun I was completly scared to death the whole time I was there. In a week we only saw 2 does the hunting was horrible I will never hunt that area agian.

I have a buddy he has a REM 700 BDL 7mm RUM we have been having a time getting a zero with this rifle. He has a Leupold VXl 4.5-14, trigger that breaks very clean and has been adjusted by a gunsmith,he also has a muzzle break. we have been shooting of a caldwell leadsled very good and solid rest. We cannot get this rifle to zero, The bullets will travel to the right then we adjust only to have to go back to the left. we have checked the scope rings and bases to insure they are tight and not moving likewise with the mounting bolts on the stock. we let this gun cool down before we fire shots and just can't figure why we would be chasing this to the right. Any ideas.

I thought shooter also then I shoot it. same thing. I am thinking stock but not sure. I am not thinking scope, but that thought has crossed my mind. Buy the way Casey I think my late nov buck will be bigger than yours....

You can fool the eyes you can fool the ears you will never fool the nose. They will bust out of there. Its foolish to try to think you can get close with the wind wrong.

congrats on a great bull, awesome bull.... I don't know about Carl. did he carry his weght around camp.....LOL Looks like things are going well. Have fun ...

That was a awesomwe bull I would guess him arounrd 370-380 at least. Those big bull jitters will get you everytime. Did he get one though?

I had the same thing happen a few years ago. I think a hot cow came in heat the bulls could smell her and got all fired up, then she got bread then we waited for another cow to come into heat then the bulls would got nuts again. I don't know how long the cows stay in heat but that was the only way I could make any sense of it. The weather was about the same nothing really changed but the bulls would be hit or miss on the rutting activity.

This sounds like a superman archery hunter that can shoot 100 yards with no problems and has the wounded bull to prove it. I get the feeling that this is a look at what bowhunters DO post. There is no other value in posting this other than that. Delete this thread it has no value why would someone post something like this. As a "hunter" archery or rifle this is the worst thing that can happen. Why the heck would you put this on a board for everyone to see.

WOW Well look at it this way we already have a hunter safety course and we still have hunters that as you put it don't have a clue so why would we have a bow hunters course that still won't send the message. I agree we do have a lot of arrow flingers but we can't fix stupid no matter how hard we try. This post is about a shooter that is having a hard time with his rest he is smart enough to ask for help to reslove the problem. I can tell by looking at the dates that he is shooting his bow and getting ready for the hunting season give the guy some credit. I know of more than a few hunters that only shoot their weapon a few times just before the hunt then call it good.

Gosh it seems like we have an abundance of a$$holes around.....You can hardly escape them even being in the middle of nowhere you find them.

Silly Broadhead penetration Test to share.
ultramag replied to HEADACHE's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
those rocket steelheads are great heads I have taken several elk with them with no problems. If you forget to put on the steel ring on the fold over heads they will dig into the arrow and ruin it, that is what the ring is for. I learned this the hard way. -
