2012 Mathews Heli-m Video Review
azpredator@work replied to sneekfreak's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I liked it well enough we had to turn the truck around and go back and buy it for my son before leaving the city. Very nice shooting bow and mathews finally did something for me to buy another bow from them. Won't be too many complaints about this bow. -
Not enough info to be sure, but based on what you have stated I would set up on the trails in the saddle. Making sure prior to set up I understood the deer's traveling pattern to properly get into the area undetected and what the wind is most likely going to do throughout the day. If the wind is unpredictable I would set up in a ground blind rather than a tree stand. The large amounts of droppings indicate the does are using that other area for bedding. Sounds like you may have found a good spot for the rut. Put cameras out and remember if the does are there the bucks will be cruising through in January. Good luck - you'll get 'em...

looks about average right now as to what I'm seeing in growth. Looks like the same buck, but you never know until they gain some character.

That's one of the best designed boxes I've ever seen if not the best. All my areas of concern have been addressed. Great job - I'd buy one!

looking for gunsmith to install muzzlebreak
azpredator@work replied to azpredator@work's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
w.o.t. - so if I was a glutten for punishment what would that scope cost me? This gun is for my son so I figure the second time it hits him he'll go strictly to archery where I want him anyway. Thanks, Wade -
looking for gunsmith to install muzzlebreak
azpredator@work replied to azpredator@work's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
So now after buying the 300win mag rifle, case, snipe pod & sling for $100 I had Todd install the brake for $130 - now looking for a good scope for around $400. Todd recommended the vortex viper 6.5 x 20. That scope looks really nice so I'll start searching for a used one. If anybody is looking to get rid of theirs send me what you have. Open to others as well in the roughly 6-20 power ranges. -

Thanks a lot for the contact. Todd did a great job. I'd recommend him to anybody. 6 hr turnaround. Can't get any better than that! I'm an archery guy, but spending time talking to him makes me want to learn more about rifles (sorry, but won't ever happen ). He's a wealth of knowledge. Again, thanks for his contact info: Todd South 602-677-3791 -

We're moving in a couple weeks so I would like to give away everything I will never use to someone just starting out or youngsters. I live in Mesa near Recker and Power. Will be busy shooting my bow in the morning 'til around 11. Just stop by and pick up what you want. 1) camo ranging in patterns and sizes med-lg / 30-34". Jackets, shirts, pants (including 1 scentlock suit) 2) bass pro boots size 9.5 3) bow hip holster 4) camelback rain cover for backpack (will cover approx 1800-2500 cu/in pack) 5) 3 pocket fanny pack 6) 2 pc rainsuit (it's camo, but you wouldn't want to hunt in it) 7) nylon bow holder 8) lots of fishing reels (spinning, baitcast and spincast) 9) bohning blazer jig 10) 3 - stealth cam cameras and 1 - moultrie (all are 35mm - maybe nice for youngsters?) 11) Brunton 10x42 binos Call for directions: Wade 480-226-4103
