Great write up Aaryn!!! I hope this story inspires more young hunters as it did our daughter. I got to meet this young lady this past weekend. Very upstanding young lady, she would make an awesome rep for the youth side of hunting!

Unreal what some people will do to make themselves look good in someone elses eyes. I am so proud to be able to say we are bringing our daughter, who is a youth hunter, up with way better ethics than some adults. Hopefully they don't pass thier ethics on to thier next generation.

Our daughter has started taking an interest in archery. Which is great, but....figuring out the best bow for her is the big question. Any suggestions??? She has a draw length of 22 1/2 and has pulled back my Passion at 40 lbs. Any thoughts would be great!

Great write up!! Awesome pics! Any wife that has her "to go bag" by the door waiting is great! My husband and I were lucky enough to meet Bryan on this hunt. Too bad it wasn't early enough for us to help. But we did get to hear him brag about his daughter and his wife. Hopefully sometime we can meet them too. Congrats on a great bull!!!!

Sounds like this marriage is going to last! That's a very forgiving wife.... One thing I've learned along the way is to pick and choose what is important enough to get mad over. So when his came in I could have blown it.....but why? He didn't do it on purpose. Besides it was great to be within 15 - 25 yards from 4 great bulls over the entire hunt. Not to mention being stared down by a calf.

Will never know huh? No to me no point in being mad. I took it as a learning lesson.

No dog house this time. I was happy to be able to be that close and learn alot. Being able toi watch my husband take his was beyond words. I couldn't be happier or any more proud of him. Next time though......I shoot first. LOL
