Dang... Tucson sure sucks for powder. Bruno’s seems to be getting some good shipments in. Might need to use a sick day from work and go get some powder.

Yup, Tucson is no good for powder availability.

Thank you all for the advice.

Wish I lived closer!

Thanks for the responses. Which model are you guys using?

Looking to buy a new rest... Anyone have experience with either the Ripcord or QAD LD or HDX?
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Keep me posted if things work out. If I haven’t found one by then I’ll let you know.

I recently posted about looking for an Aussie. I may have found one, but my son is sure wanting a lab. I don’t blame him, I grew up with them and they sure are hard to resist. We may end up getting two dogs...
Anyone know of any leads to some lab pups? I’m not partial on chocolate, black, or yellow, just looking for a good pup.
Thanks in advance CW!

Thanks Sir. It is definitely hard. Didn’t think I’d want another so soon, but the house different without a dog in it.

Corgis are pretty dang funny dogs. I really enjoy them, my mother has them. I will own one or two in my lifetime I’m sure.
I’ve had a few leads on some pups. Thanks in advance to everyone.

Anyone have Aussie pups or Aussie/healer mix? We lost our dog recently and finally feel like we are ready for another pup.
Thanks,
Kurt

I’ve shot the 162 sst on deer prior to switching to the 180 hybrids out of my 7mm mag. I’ve never had an issue with them on game that I shot from 200-600. never recovered a bullet though, they have all been pass through. I agree, they are a great bullet and a great price.

I’m right there with you Casey, that’s exactly what popped in my head. I always wanted a banshee, loves the sound of a 2 stroke. I had a bombardier Ds650 growing up. That thing was a tank. My favorite was my Suzuki LTR450. Sold it once I got married and man do I sure miss it. This thread brought back some good memories.
Hope you find what you’re looking for bigmalcolm.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback Lance. I’m looking forward to trying it should I be able to come across some in the future.

I’ve emailed the FS several times and all the information they reply with is vague. There are several areas that are a good 3hr drive from my house, I’d rather know they are accessible before I go... but I can never get a solid answer. The map they provide lacks in clarity as well, so you can’t tell much from it, or at least I’m too dumb to be able to. They opened more trails recently and updated that on their website.

What an awesome offer. I will be interested as well.

I’m with you, don’t understand why majority of the mountain is closed. I was hoping things would look better before my hunt, but I doubt it will with only a few weeks left. Sucks that it’s closed to foot access too, not worth the fines to risk it either, but that’s just my opinion.

I’m half tempted to get rid of my swaros and buy these... I could use the extra money to buy a new barrel🤣. Where are you located?

Lance, have you played around with RL33 much? If so how is it for temp stability?
Thanks in advance!

That is really good news! I looked on Fs website, but couldn’t find anything. I’ll be really happy if they open the roads soon.
