How much for the wooden benches in front of the house? Those would look good in front of our place. Might be interested in the vacuum cleaner, too, as ours seems to be taking the proverbial dump lately.... -
I was getting ready to agree wholeheartedly to this.... until I read this. DEFINITELY! I'm jealous of that boy! Congrats on a great run so far!

Congrats to both hunters and their dads!

I can put you in touch with the WMs up there if you need help. I've worked with the former 13B WM (now Sector Supervisor) for 8+ years on various conservation projects. He'll help you get on birds! Sounds good if you could PM his email address I will send him a note. Thanks Fred PM sent. Good luck!

Let me know if you're interested in meeting up and/or swapping info. Found out my daughter will have the whole weekend, after all, assuming she doesn't fill her tag in the opening of the youth hunt. heck yes Brian lets plan on it if your daughter does not get one on the youth hunt we'll make sure she gets first shot on our hunt. plenty of birds (snow too) up that way we should not have a problem getting a couple of birds. Deal! The other day she said "You get first shot this year since you gave me first shot last year." I told her it doesn't work that way when hunting with your kids!

If something falls through and one of the above doesn't work out, I'll be driving through the valley next Wednesday (23rd) on my way to my in laws in El Paso. I can bring you a brick to buy until you can get more.

Mine and my daughter's regular tags came in the mail today!

Got two, myself! -
Says I was drawn for a 12A leftover tag too but the way the GnF is handling this draw I won't believe it until I get the tag in my hands. This late 12a hunt is a great hunt good luck at actually getting a tag. Same here for me and my daughter up there! We found birds the last two years up there, but I don't know that I want to drive that far south, especially if she has limited time due to a school trip the following weekend.

My daughter (now 11) has been shooting a Ruckus for almost 3 years. She loves it and its a solid bow. Back when we got it, the Infinite Edge was too heavy for her. Our son will be 8 in two weeks and we'll be getting him the Infinite Edge Pro soon. Talking to our pro shop up here (BBA), the Infinite Edge Pro is the way to go for him vs. the Ruckus. I will say that the Ruckus is a solid bow! My daughter is pulling 37 pounds and shooting to 35 yards no problem with it.

Where was this three months ago when I got mine?!? Bump for a GREAT scope!

Sportsman's Warehouse in Flagstaff had the DPMS Oracle A4(?) on sale for $449 Wednesday when I stopped in for other business. I got mine at Cabela's as a closeout for $600 this summer. I've put 20 rounds down range to start breaking it in and its a beast!

It is awesome to have so many options for kids now days. Hard to believe i was swinging gun this size when i was a youth, i would not believe it at all except that i remember the bruises. Exactly! I'm still hunting with the full size Rem 1100 12 Gauge that I got when I was 12. Youth model back then was "Suck it up until you grow!" Hope you sell this quickly! -
That is awesome! I'm tempted to raise my hand for my kids and I'll be at the stadium next Sunday (13th), but I'm sure there are some folks closer who can grab it up first. Very cool of you, indeed!

If that was a youth model... -
How is Edge not on this list? Or did I miss it since I haven't actually scrolled through the whole thing? Same for Pete. They both sent money for stuff with only looking at pictures. And a huge shoutout to MatthewQuigley for being the go-between since he worked up here in Flagstaff and was either friends with (Edge) or lived near (Pete) the buyers. Met him the first time and knew he was a stand up guy that would deliver the goods and bring the money back. Even my wife who never trusts strangers was impressed with Duane!

I noticed the draw tags on 6B right away when the regs came out. There are spots 15 minutes from my house, so I was hoping for some pre-school hunts for my daughter after opening weekend. I put her in for a 12A leftover tag with me, but may look into one of those, too. Good luck on the first weekend. If you need some areas, let me know.

Congrats on a well-earned buck!

There are always a few here and there, especially rifled barrels in the classifieds on Iowawhitetail.com. I can personally vouch for some of the guys selling stuff on there.
-
If you don't sell that Savage 210, I can probably help you sell it on a forum back in Iowa. With their shotgun seasons, those things are popular and go fairly quickly when someone decides to let one go.

Congrats on a great buck and way to stick with it!
