I just got back from my trip. I took everyone's tips and it paid off for me. I first got to Rainbow and man, the weeds are everywhere and out quite a ways. I do not have a boat so fishing from shore was the only option there for me. I was skunked out on Friday there but I did fish a bit over at Showlow Lake. I also got skunked out there too but I went back Saturday morning and only got 2 bites but I was able to hook into them and land them. Not very big but still worthy trout keepers and dinner. Went back to Rainbow and fished form shore. I used a trout power worm and a small bobber and caught a bunch of really small bass and a couple small bluegill. Was a bunch of fun and was able to end the night feeling good. Really beautiful up there and already planning the next trip up.

Keeping my fingers crossed that everyone holds off for a couple weeks so that I can pounce on this one. I want this!

OpticNerd, man you are the man with your videos! Dandy bucks for sure and the quality of the footage is superb!

Very nice everyone, this helps me out tremendously, many thanks!

That thing is sweet!

I loved the video, gets the heart pumping! What brand of camera did you use if you don't mind me asking?

What's the total length with the brake? Also round count and what kind of groups with either hand or factory loads?
-
Very nice, I'd love to see the entire wall though.

Thanks for sharing, what kinda rifle is that and caliber?

Great story, certainly one to remember. Nothing like enjoying a cold one after a successful hunt, congrats!

Very cool, I was just at the sportsmans in Tucson and was looking at your picture on the wall towards the entrance. Nice to read the story, big congrats on the hard work!

Great write up, thank you for sharing!

Its worth a try. This year I shot at a decent buck and missed him while I spooked him and he was running. Went back the following morning and he about 500 yards from where I'd shot at him the day before.

Solid buck right there, nicely done!

Wanted to see if anyone knows of a great gunsmith in Tucson. I just picked up a Remington 700 chambered in 30-06 and would like to work up a load, float and glass bed stock along with new scope with rings. Also, quite possibly a trigger job. Thank you all!

Blessed with our first 2 coues bucks!

Thanks again guys! Lance, I don't know anyone who has loading equipment is the biggest problem. I also do not have the space to buy all the things and work on them since I live in an apartment. I would be more that happy to pay for someone to work up the best load for that rifle. I had my 7mm Rem Mag done a couple years ago from my then sisters fiancé but the relationship went sour and we do not speak at all. Does Lawsons work up loads as well?

Thanks everyone for the quick responses! Lancetkenyon, I would have to have him work up a load for me since I do not have the equipment or knowledge for that. You have anyone in mind? Thanks again all, any others?
