Wow, sorry for your loss. Hope they find the culprit. I rank thieves right up there with cow dung!

here's one. can you see him????

Not to get too technical, it's an idler wheel, not a single cam in the add... I know what you're thinking, I was 1/2 joking. I don't shoot a Mathews but I sure don't think they'll be creating a cam & 1/2 set-up. Something tells me they've done quite well with their single cam. Besides, if speed is really that big of a deal, the X-Force didn't do too bad as a single cam. Not so much inferior or unattainable in a single cam if you ask me.....

Nice job Tanner! Hey, that attachment came in, give me a call so we can hook up....
-
Awesome! Especially with your dad and everything!! nice job guys
-
Thank you, Tanner! Hope it works out for you and good luck over the next few days!! Pack is SOLD, guys......
-
I'll let it go for $100. I've been extremely pleased with this pack. Their warranty is transferable and if you don't already know, it can't be beat. I just had it sent back from Badlands after replacing a couple of zipper tabs that broke last year that I never got around to replacing. They're also sending me an attatchable gun scabbard system that they forgot to send with the pack. If I didn't need something a little bit bigger, I wouldn't think twice about holding on to it.. If you want pictures, let me know.. Thanks

Very cool! nice job guys! -
Obviously these things seem to always pop up when the heat kicks up again. I was at work last night when my wife called to tell me that something happened to our golden retreiver. Come to find out, her assumption was right about it being a rattlesnake bite. We don't have the money for the antivenin so I called a friend who's a vet. He informed me that most dogs, especially bigger breeds do okay after being bitten. So, I took the cheaper route of lots of fluids, and some benedryl every now and then. This happened last night and she's running around today, eating and drinking water. Got to be a good thing..... BTW, snake was never found... She looks like a fat Shar Pei' now!! Ha Ha!! Feel bad for her face though!!

Here's an update. She's doing amazing! Here's another before and an after picture. No, the before picture's not photoshopped.

Protected? What do you mean by that? Basically like an immunization?

Is that 19" when they're laid out/flat, after the bucks dead? Christian, I hope that bucks everything you say he is. What a stud buck to be 18" wide!!! I learn something new every day i'm in the field and as long as we're willing to accept being wrong, if we are, we'll only be that much more prepared the next time we come across a buck like that. I, like you, spend many days in the field and countless hours behind the glass. And I, like TAM, have been fooled before. Even after all of that time spent and all of those bucks seen. I've got a buck that sits at 12" NARROW! His ears are 14" from tip-to-tip. He doesn't look that far inside his ears either........ Good luck with your dad and taking that buck......

104" (Obviously thats gross)

Okay, don't laugh at this. But, if you were able to get a helicopter possibly to this bull, then you could obviously come in from the top, right? Why not cut his horns off from the top? If it's a long reach, maybe one of those tree-trimming chain saws on long extension poles (since everyone carries one of those in camp anyway like I do!!). That was a joke. But, an option maybe??? How about throwing boulders down at his antler to try and break it all loose? Sad to break his rack more but it's already busted and it's an option again, maybe????? Sorry for the ending. I'm sure you thought of everything though..... (my buddy said shoot the antler loose, ha ha!!!!)

Way to go! With the whole family and everything!!

Christian, Nice buck, bro! First off let me say that it shouldn't matter what that buck scores, as long as your happy with him. He's definitely unique and that's just as good as BIG sometimes, IMO. You asked what we think he'll score. I'm guilty of it too, but don't get too upset when someone feels your buck will score less than what you think it will. Someone who frequents this site told me once not to get too caught up in score, because my definition of a trophy is all that should matter. Trust me, that's a hard one to swallow sometimes when I think of how fortunate I am with the tag I landed this year! But it's so true! I'll score him a little bit bigger than TAM, however, I think he's pretty close. I think he's a little wider than 14". Here's a buck that's 16.5" wide. This buck had great mass all throughout and a couple of extra points so he scored a little better, but you get the idea. With that being said, I'm sure we're not getting the best look at your buck. A coues deer with an 18" inside spread is REALLY WIDE! Although it's only 1.5" more than this buck, it's still noticably different. The ears are also a tough one to judge off of. Rarely does a buck lay his ears all of the way out. In their natural state, I'll bet a bucks ears are more like 14", tip-to-tip. And not all coues' ear length are the same. But most are probably about that. You'll notice that as this bucks ears are laid out, he's a tad wider than his ears, and he's still only 16.5" wide. So, if your bucks ears are "relaxed/natural', he's probably closer to 15-16" rather than 18". Am I making sense? Go shoot that buck and give us the details then!!!

Awesome Brian! Congratulations on a well placed shot!!!

I found a rifle in an archery only hunting area near Tucson several years ago. Called PCSO and they were at my doorstep in less than an hour. Several days later I recieved a phone call from sherriff stating the gun was stolen out of Los Angeles. Good to see there are others out there that would do the same as I did. Especially if it WAS stolen. Hope the rightful owner is found.

I could be WAY off, but isn't it only 1 wknd a month, 2 weeks a year in the Guard? If so, what's the big deal if he IS in Phx?

I had the chance to go out with a buddy during the juniors hunt. A friend of ours has a son that he wasn't going to be able to take out so we graciously accepted the opportunity. Who wouldn't!?! We glassed up this buck that morning and after a couple hrs of losing him and the other buck, my buddy finally relocated them bedded. A couple of shots later, we had him down! Any guesses on what he'll score?

Way to go guys! Congrats to the hunter!

Why do they schedule on such an inopportune weekend!?!?!

I got a phone call from a friend firefighter out in Avra Valley who said their station had become the new home to a couple of lost hound dogs. They're black and tan in color. The station is NW of Tucson, a few miles north of Missle Base Rd. This is out near RedRock (but on the east/north side of I-10). My buddy's not a hunter and has no idea what kind of hounds they are. Maybe I'll have him send me pictures to post. Anyway, they're now at his house and he'll take care of them until hopefully the rightful owner is found. Any questions just send me a PM....
