    Crimson Talon broadheads?

Crimson Talon makes a good broadhead. They weren't the sharpest when they first came out but they've fixed that. I've spoken with plenty of people that have had incredible blood trails with them. So that's a plus. They definitely do the job when they're put in the right place. Most people haven't had much problem tuning them that I've talked to. BUT, everyone shoots different, has their bow set-up different and all of the other variables that "don't exist" when finding the "perect tuning" broadhead. I wouldn't necessarily believe their idea of the degree of angle on their blades being, "....the perfect degree for maximum penetration" but that's my opinion. They're a pain when shooting into targets because of the helical blades. You'll have to push them through or you'll bend the blades. I shot the Viper's out of my recurve this year for javelina. They flew well. Good luck and hope this helped.

    winchester silver tips

Several years ago I hit a Muley buck at about 250 yards with a 150 grain win ballistic silver-tip. I hit him a little high and right and smacked him just above the shoulder blade. He dropped like a brick, of course. As I was getting my pack on and took one last look, I looked up and found him standing broadside, staring at me. Through the binos I could see where I hit and noticed a big chunk taken out of the hide. I ended up shooting him again with my buddy's .243 because it was the closest thing to me. I've taken a couple of deer with the same round and caliber (7mm Mag) and have had good luck with them. Just had the one experience where it either expanded pre-maturely or something like that.

    Rude hunters

Jan 1st I was guiding my brother into a big buck when just before he was to get within 100 yards, someone started varmit calling. The deer didn't like that too much so they took off. My brother followed the buck for a couple of miles then radioed to me to come pick him up. On our way back to our initial glassing point we saw a couple of trucks on the road up ahead of us, with their doors open, parked in the middle of the road while the occupants were out running around firing there shotguns at "quail". I wouldn't be so upset because they can hunt quail as much as I can hunt deer but everyone knows theres not much quail in the area. To top it off, as we pulled up and waited for them to move their trucks, one guy asks us, "....Any luck?" We asked who was varmit calling and he said that it was them. After informing them that they screwed us up on that stalk they had the nerve to say, "....Well, where did the buck go cause we brought our bows too in case we see any deer?" This guy had his kid with him too. Great way to teach him the ropes. Not only can you hunt quail, but when you're bored you can varmit call and THEN if nothing comes in MAYBE there will be some deer around to chase. Maybe next time......

I believe Bradley's buck was 34A. I'd post the pics if I had the permission.
