I am looking at having turrets made by Kenton Industries for the Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 vplex scope. My question is how many of you when hunting use the windage turret or do you just hold with a mildot reticle. Whould it best to have both dials made or just stick with an elevation turret similar to the vortex hs-lr? Thanks in advance.

Ok. How about this question then... How would one go about getting "moa" turrets that can be used in various settings without having them capped..

I assume the shooter app would be helpful for uncapped turrets? Do most people just unscrew the caps on the scope before getting ready to shoot? The vortex viper is capped but the hs lr and pst all have turrets straight from vortex.

I plan on shooting alot and handloading. Just trying to find out if the windage turret is really necessary or not and if so when hunting how many people actually dial for windage.

Why not take jlw's and condense the camera pic down a little bit. I know in a previous post it was mentioned about branding. You want a logo thats easy to put on everything from letterheads to business cards and tshirts. I think having something like extreme fabrication at the top and for the extreme outdoorsman at the bottom and maybe shrink the camera image up to be like 60-70% of what the current size is and then center it a bit. Just my 2 cents...

+1000 on 5.11 i just picked up a pair of taclite's for the deer hunt this past weekend. Very comfortable, rugged and repels the thorns extremely well. I plan on buying a few more pairs for this reason. If you are in the west valley... Fx tactical had them for $49/pair..

Look into working as Maintenance or a/c tech for a school district. Decent pay. State Retirement. Paid benefits for the employee usually 100% by the district. May not make bank roll but the benefits are well worth it.
