This may be a dumb question. I feel dumb asking... BUT... has anyone ever tried using .30 carbine bullets in an AR-10 or bolt .308? Seems like for plinking purposes it wouldn't be a bad thing but particularly in the AR platforms, would there be cycle issues or is there a Minimum Overall Length that cartridges can be? I've read on other sites of people being successful with it and others that haven't. Just curious to what anyone has tried or just perhaps their thoughts on it. I am not so much looking for accuracy. Just something to go fire off some cheap fun... also, if the .30 carbine projectiles arent recommended does anyone know of anywhere locally that may sell surplus pulled, 30 cal projectiles for cheap??

Thanks Coach. Its a Spikes Tactical Lower with Punisher markings on a YHM upper with CMMG Barrel and Magpul goodies. I put the Burris Tac 30 1-4 scope with illuminated reticle on it. Hoping to get it out soon for some varmint hunting

So I searched around this site for answers before posting, so forgive me if this has been discused before... my question is, has anyone created a living trust to register class 3 weapons to? I am looking at building an "SBR" style weapon and would be interested in silencer's and other cool toys... just want to know if anyone did it themselves or hired an attorney to help. My understanding is you can have a joint persons with equal rights on the trust and because this becomes similar to a company there are no background checks that the BATF can conduct, which takes months out of waiting for an approval to weeks or even days...everyone's input is appreciated. Thanks.

Any anual fees, insurance requirements? after I posted this I talked to someone else that suggested an LLC and for the 100 dollars it cost to set up might be worth it. Could one get an ffl license if an LLC is established?

If someone spends enough time online they will 90% of the time always find a better deal. Between backpage (people selling guns to pay bills) or budsgunshop or cheaperthan dirt there is always gonna be someone cheaper. For someone who wants a product in town and meet face to face they can sell a product, meet a member, and bs about hunting or guns or whatever. I do spend a good amount of time online on this site and others and always shop things out to price out what's fair. Were all trying to make a buck as well as give the other a good deal.
