So i drew the 3a/3c early archery tag and was just wondering what tips you guys have for me in elk hunting sense i really have never hunted elk before except just a tag along cow hunt. anything will help as what to do in mornings from calling to how to respond to a bull or talk to him or call him in. Maybe some food sources elk tend to enjoy that time of year? Anything will help and be appreciated.i am in process of listening to jay scotts pod cast on the unit and i am learning a few things from this for sure

I always was on the band wagon for a while that arizona had way to late of turkey hunts cuz it always seemed like i was hearing nothing in the woods except a few here and there. Then i learned how to hunt turkey and call to them and i prefer the later season now! Thats my two cents!

Hunted and called in turkeys thru the end of the hunt in may for archery. They will talk u just got to find the right birds. One flock might be quiet and then you move over a ridge and u will find a tom on fire. Its all about location and catching the right flock the right time in my opinion. Doesnt matter what time . Hens will try and bread multiple times if they dont take so the mating season lasts a while

Any call recomdations. Mouth call vs houchi mama? Bugle tubes? Do i really need to worry about calling if they are bugling good? When i taged along with cow hunt all we did was listen for the bugles and played the wind and snuck in and got it done.

I think they should go back to charging everyones card for the app fee and the tag and send a refund check back like they use to or credit it back to account if not drawn.Then we would all be back to sweating it out tell you got to call the hotline or got your tag in mail. This would get rid of all the declined cards and call backs and delay in results. They fix that and we will all be able to take appropriate vacation time in a timely manner. But i am sure that will somehow be fraud cuz i am not a bank guy but hey it sounds good😄

Family has a place up in heber that i am at alot and have spent some time up there more towards black canyin lake just never chased any elk or hunted them. but i have four months to kick it into gear!

Body solid g3s gym for sale brand new never really used. Weights dont even have a wear mark on them. Pretty much never used. Bought it then had two babies and ended up hiking and training a different way.$1500 brand new on amazon. i have it apart in garage it is way to heavy to move without apart.
