  1. Just wanted to hear some feedback about what u guys think about scent control from special scent control cloths to washing clothes in scent eliminator and scent eliminator sprays. I use to be all about them but over my years of hunting to me it seems like a big waste of money.i use to wash clothes and keep in special bag to store and use the soap and shampoo and all types of scent control and even spent 100's of dollars on the carbon camo but to me it seems like if u dont have the wind right they are goin to smell you no matter what. I know it probably helps but is it really worth the money? For example i just went on an elk hint with buddy and the mesquitos were horrible so we had to spray down with some stong smelling bug spray and we def didnt shower but we had wind right and had elk at less than five yards. So why spend the money? Just wanted to see what you guys think?

  2. If you are taking your kid out for there first deer hunts and or fishing trips it needs to be all about fun if you want your kid to enjoy the outdoors. If u can go out and see deer and even get lucky enough to harvest a deer with your kid it will just ice the cake. I got a few spots where i know i will see lots pf deer and will give my daughter when she gets of age a goood opportunity at a deer dont care about size. And i want to make it as fun as possible so she enjoys it and wants to do it again. I am racking up a few fishing holes as well so when we go fishing we Are doing alot more catching than sitting and she wont get bored and want to do something else. So in my opinion it is not about the size just about family and fun. As they get older and more experienced then comes the trophy hunting if they chose to do so cuz we all know shooting a trophy deer takes some work

  3. Sorry guys left a little info out and yes i know the 3.5 inch shell is a big round but like you guys said it will be her turkey shotgun. In my opinion there is no better shell to smack a turkey with. She allready has a 20gauge that we quail and dove hunt with that she loves but i would much rather her shoot a 3.5in 12 guage round at a turkey. I do want gas so that it helps with the recoil.

  4. But i see plenty of mule deer down there and i am seein mule deer in places i have never seen them before so in my book i feel they are doin pretty good and as for archery hunters double dipping i am sure that it does happen but it is far and few between. I would put the blame on that over just out right poaching bein the problem in those units

  5. I know that this buck is a trophy of a lifetime and if it was hunted and cought going over the fence then more congrats to the hunter cuz i am sure it took time to figure out were that was happening. But from ready these posts this is a buck that people have petted and fed for years? That is crazy to me so all i had to do is see it over the fence and walk up to it like i was going to feed or pet it and then shoot it with arrow? I love this thread so much lol

  6. I have a 2002 honda 400ex that has different jets for different elevations in the carb and how i have it set up right now it will not run in higher elevation over 5000 feet it will start but will have no power what so ever. To me sounds like you have a jet problem or an air/fuel problem
