Ok fellas two years ago i got a call from game and fish saying a goulds turkey tag was turned in and i was next in line for tag. I turned down the tag as i wanted the whole hunt experience and not the short time they gave me.Well i got the call again and have 24 hrs to take the tag. Not sure i am going to pass this time. I am up there in The points and i know nOt a guarantee but should draw in normal draw if i wait soon. but i said that last time and its been two years. I have limited time with work but man not sure if i take a second chance. Life changes in all sorts of ways. What you guys think?

This was by far best thread ever lol. I just got caught up. Man been wondering were everyone was lol. I asked a question about sheds and at least thought i would get a get on on your feet and find them comment but nothing. Now i know why.

Just looking at pictures and it was first week of august when i found the bulls. They were in some very nasty stuff and only want to go in there if maybe there could be some horns. If not i will look from a far again lol.

If you find bachelor groups of elk in late july are those same bulls there when they are shedding there antlers? or are summer and shed areas different spots?Found some stud bulls last year in july and would love to see if there antlers are there from last year. i am going soon to see if i can find them again but i would love to find there sheds just not sure if they would be there. Starting to learn the game and learning what i need to be doing different for sure! Pm me if nobody wants to post it lol! Internet sucks these days

Ya i have been kicking my butt in here hiking around for sheds and looking for bears. Every canyon goes deep. Lost ten pounds past two weeks going hard in there and only have two browns to show for it. I have not seen a bear but did find some sign. I guess thats a success.

I have onx.can u get it to map that north boundary? It only shows me the whole unit.

Been dreaming of that rifle antelope tag for a long time but archery seems so much more challenging.should i hold out or challenge mtself after 14 years and try for that archery lope. i know i have a long wait unless i get lucky for a rifle antelope tag and i am thinking i am in the mix for a archery tag now so I figured i would see what you guys think. Should i hold out for a rifle tag or start only applying for a archery tags? I Will have 14 points. Thinking of sixA or fourB or threeA.

Dang kev if it wasn’t for you i am pretty sure i would not have my bison. Thank you again sir. It was bad when i was up there but i cant imagine now. But same stuff was going down before there was 3 guide services up there. Def a bad look for mossback. But that whole shoot show with the co op thing with guided hunters and diy guys is a joke.they can spin it all they want but i can see it always being like this. Hope it gets fixed.

Shot this guy on opening morning. Spent a few days scouting before my hunt to find some elk to get into and i found a few. Spent most my time scout for wifes 3a3c tag. Opening mor ing I Come up a small hill to look in a meadow and across it i see this guy chasing a cow all over. One cow call and the cow heard it and came running and the bull was right behind. They came into 20 yards searching and after a few seconds of not seeing anything turned to walk away and I stopped him at 40 yards and shot him. He ran 50 yards and died. Shot him with a rage. I know people give that broadhead a bad review but they have never let me down and always leave huge holes.. been up in 3a3c with the wife ever sense trying to fill her tag. Seen plenty of bulls and have had a opportunity everyday and passed on a ton of bulls. Last night she missed. this morning put an arrow over the back of one. Hope it pans out she is getting discouraged.
