My wife and kids were leaving the Queen Creek library a few minutes ago and she was stopped by 2 women. They Proceeded to ask her questions about "gun control/violence". Ya know the same liberal talking points about guns......She said I own guns and shoot with my husband. If they were smart you think they would realize their wasting their breath. Of course their not! So they brought up high capacity "clips"(idiots don't even know the real name). My wife who loves to shoot said, I can exchange magazines and shoot the same number of rounds almost as fast as if I had a high capacity mag. So thats an invalid point. Well they said, "gun control is different out here than in the inner city, we're trying to get BAZOOKA type weapons ban" After they said that my wife walked away. Little do people know when you move to Queen Creek your house warming gift is a Bazooka! Man now everyones going to move here!

Yep! I have a friend that lives in Queen Creek. He works for BP patrolling the boarder on horse back. Because of the location of his office and the maditory furlough days and no OT he spends 2, yes 2 hrs a day actually patrolling the boarder. The rest is spent loading the horses and driving. He also took a 40% pay cut. Thanks Janet

I've hunted southern Colorado and have tagged out every time. Love hunting there! Great meat hunts! Not cheap though.

At the last Commission meeting there was talk of going to only online with no paper whatsoever by the 2014 elk draw. That would be next year. The Department is also committing itself to investing in a better online system. Sorry to hear guys!! That makes me ill thinking about it. Maybe I don't get it. And I've said this before... Is it that hard or doesn't it cost that much to use the vendors/systems that other states use any modify them to our states laws and guidelines? I've applied in other states for 8 yrs now and NEVER had any problems. Maybe I don't hear about them, I don't know. For example, NM IMO has the best system. It's user friendly and simple. The draw back, they pull the full tag amount. But the draw is complete around 30 days. I'll pay the interest for thirty days so I don't get axed on the draw. No goat rope like we have every time! I would love to brag about how great our system is here in Az.
