Thanks. I tried holding out for that big 5x4 from the video but I'm not very good at passing bucks when they're within 200 yards. Seeing that your from Safford I'm pretty sure we hunted the same spots or two. I was born and raised hunting the units around the Gila Valley.

Thanks Jeff. Honestly I don't know how many of them are still out there running around. I haven't seen any of the bigger ones in awhile. I do know for a fact that there is at least one of them from the video that isn't roaming the hills anymore I shot him in 2013 the following year after getting him on video.

Thanks and your welcome CatfishKev. I too was surprised to watch him walk across those rocks. Ah the things a guy will do just to get a woman.

Here's a little something to help past the time while we wait for the draw results to come out. Hopefully they'll be out within the next couple weeks but until then we might as well watch some coues footage while we wait. On a side note the footage looks noticeably better in 4K/1440 this is if your computer can handle it. Also I don't know if it's just my PC or not but to get the video to play in 4K/1440 I have to restart the video after selecting one of these two settings. I don't know why this is but for me the video will not start playing after I select 4k/1440 unless I slide the red timeline bar back to the start of the video.

Thanks Shawn and Red Sparky. Hey Red Sparky how'd it look on a 4K TV? Is there much difference between 4K and 1080?

Thanks carpcody and stanley. Hey stanley if your looking for another break from work I'm currently working on another video that should give you at least 15-20 min off. I should be done with it in a week or two so keep your eyes open.

Thanks guys! Pretty sure you got me beat bhuntin with a 27 inch Mac. I don't even think my monitor displays full 1080 so I have yet to truly see what the 4K footage looks like. Don't mind at all Quagmire the camera I used was a Panasonic G7.

Thanks Viper. It's always good for me to hear what people think about my videos. Good or bad.

When you say you be using this for pack-in hunts I automatically think smaller/lighter is better. I've owned my fair share of scopes sizes ranging from 25mm all the way up to 120mm and I absolutely love the Nikon ED50 with the 13-40x zoom. I've had success using mine out to 2 miles but it all depends on what your going to use it for. If you think you'll be using this new scope for an occasional look at a deer just to see if it has antlers then I'd say the 50mm scopes would be my choice for a pack-in hunt. One thing I hear and see a lot from other hunters is that more times than not they leave the spotting scope in the truck because it's not worth packing for how little they actually use it. Sometimes smaller really is better.
