I travel for work in spurts. Last year I was out 8x. Tucson in a small airport that requires a bunch of connections to go anywhere aside from LAX, SD, PHX or Ft. Worth. Long layovers and delayed flights are your friend. If there is a flight out to N.Y. or whatever and they need a flight crew they seem to take the ones taking you home so you wait. It drives me crazy. My brother travels a lot for his work but he is in Phx aera. He flys direct anywhere. For me it would be something close to a MAJOR airport.

Neither store has been good to me. If you want something they certainly have it but you have to pay for the privilege of buying it at their store. Once....just once I found some 5.11 pants in the bargain cave that happened to be my size and only $20. Sportsman's has a crappy return policy so I do not buy from them either. Most of my shopping is on line now. I do try and make it a point to shop and buy something from small businesses if I happen to be near one though. I know it is more expensive but I find it important to support them too.

No one wants to see me on any stair climber....promise. If the wife actually used it I would be perfectly content sitting behind her watching while drinking a beer. Then I would argue to keep it but no luck.

Aside from slime in tires we also carried plenty of plugs, 12v compressor, spare and a short high lift Jack. I only had to change out a tire once. It was before the Ranger was even off the trailer. The bead came off it was so low. No amount of plug or slime would have fixed that.

Yeah...I have NEVER done that....

Come on guys...just about anything. Pack, ammo, knives, etc, etc...

We always did and it worked great. The way we figured it... If it saves you from changing a tire out in the sticks it is worth it!

Here are a few photos from a ranch south of Hermosillo. The first one is a pick up from a few years ago from what they explained. The rest were taken this season. All from approx one square mile of each other. Enjoy!

I haven't a clue but he was certainly wider but not as heavy as the other in front of it. Deep forks all the way around. So wide it looked almost flattened. The rancher was saying that it was a bad year because it was so dry but you would not know it by the deer taken. I guess no one told the deer that it was a dry year.

Javelina hunting is my favorite. Tons of fun with zero pressure. Lately I have been hunting HAM and rifle to get out. The times we are successful it all goes to Chorizo. We Love it. So do our friends and family. They are just as excited for our hunts and they do not hunts. Sadly my 14yo daughter stopped going with me. I was devastated but she is all in for all other hunting.

Try AZGFD. They have a lost and found. Years ago I found a .22lr pistol during a 32 deer hunt. It was right in the road back to the camp sites I posted a sign and stopped every truck that I could catch driving past our camp. After three days of no luck I turned it into two WM's who were dealing with a guy in the next camp over who took a deer off private property. Never heard anything about it. It was a nice pistol too.
