I did lose a good job, for that time in my life, because they would not "let" me go on my first elk hunt. The vacation was already approved but the 'boss' did not like hunting/firearms/killing animals/me. So he gave me some BS reason why I could not go. In the end my wife supported me and my decision to go hunting so I was golden.

My wife and daughter have WAY better hunting equipment than I do. I do not mind one bit. I would much rather have it that way than have awesome equipment but hunt alone.

Wow. All of my battery issues went away when I added the battery tender. I also replaced the crappy Ranger battery with a AGM (?) battery. I liked it because it was sealed. I probably had 4rys with it and zero problems.

Get a Battery tender. That brand specifically. If it is a Polaris get the Polaris branded cover specific to your model. It will not be cheap but it will cover it completely all the way to the ground. It seems to be of a better (thicker) quality too.

Sounds like you are at M.O.E. Minute of Elk. You accuracy is perfect. Don't get into 200+ yard shots. They are not center fire, the do not carry the energy out past 200. Sounds like you got a great load.

I have a Tristar Raptor semi-auto 2 ¾ and 3inch in 12g in Advantage Max 1 camo for sale today. I acquired this in a multi shotgun purchase from a family member. I was only really interested I obtaining my Uncles, my father figure really, Winchester Model 50 but this Tristar came with the deal. It is not really my style. My cousin says that it fires everything from wally world economy loads to 3inch magnums without issues with the exception of one particular brand of 3inch steel shot because of low primers. I am guessing that the primers on that particular batch of shells were seated too low? He is only sold this to upgrade to a Benelli Vinci. It comes with three chokes and a barrel extender? He said it helps extend the range for high flying birds? I included a few pictures of where I noted the camo was scratched. No surface issues other than those. From what I can find in my searches this is approximately $400ish new?? So well sell for $275. Please let me know if additional pictures are needed.
